Neshaminy Valley Golf Club

This is pretty much the definition of - "you get what you pay for." However, even the cheap price doesn't bump this to a 2 start location.

Bottom line is the condition of the course was among the worst I've ever experienced. The greens are laughably slow with large patches of unplayable surface. I played with a regular who indicated that "even in tournament play they just let you move the ball to another spot where you can get a clean path to the whole." The tee boxes are the length of the rough where there is grass left. The "fringe" is really just patches of rough and burnt out areas. The bunkers aren't really in a playable condition.

For those familiar with the old Twining Valley / Upper Dublin Golf Club track - that is the only course that I can really compare the conditions on an even playing field.

Bottom line is its a cheap loop - so I guess it is as advertised - but in an area rich with golf courses, there are a dozen a short drive away that clearly top this track and in the same price range.

I like playing different courses for the experience. This was a one and done for me.

I have been here about 25 times over the past 20 years. The staff is always friendly but the course struggles in some areas. When it rains, forget about it, especially on the back 9.

With that said, today was the worst shape the course has been, ever.

Fairways were like rock, patchy grass everywhere, not taken care of.

Greens were recently aerated, however, they were in extremely bad shape with thick grass, dirt piles and bumps everywhere. It was impossible to putt.

Tee boxes were all hard rock/soil, no grass on them to hit from.

This course needs to be shut down until next spring for repairs and major fixes to make it viable again.

Staff was friendly but the course was terrible. It’s like a shooting gallery. You need hard hats out there because every hole is right next to the other. This course needs more trees to secure the golfers from being hit by errant shots. This course could be nice if they put some money back into it and many more trees. I won’t be back to this track but god bless the golfers out there because your taking your life in your hands playing this course.
