Do not waste your time and money.
So today was the first round I played here. Always looks like a nice place when you drive by. Well thats where it ends. This was absolutely the worse condition course I have ever played. Definitely not worth the money. There is no difference in the grass between the fairway...the green....or the rough. Absolutely the hardest tee boxes ever. Bring a small hammer to help put the tees in. There is either brown grass or no grass and mud on most of the greens Here are some of the photos I took so you can see.
Nice layout but greens were like cabbage
1st time playing. Staff friendly and good availability and quality very good (friend and I had the chicken salad sandwich). Course could have use more water but the greens were very disappointing...not well maintained. I liked the layout..some challenging holes that made you think.
Horrible
the course is a dump. the tee boxes are dirt and crab grass that are covered in hundreds off tees. They are hard as a rock and you can barely get a tee in. The greens are patchey and burnt out with cracked dirt and crab grass. They are also full of pitch marks and spots when people smacked their clubs on the ground. The best was me and a buddy pulled are first tee shots over to 11s fairway only to watch the Marshall pick both of our balls up and drive off while the other 2 in our foursome teed off. This place should only cost 10 dollars a round not 42. Don't go here
Not great ... but passable
Golf shop staff were very nice and accommodating...
Tees were in rough shape...
Greens were a bit slow...
Surprised how busy it was for later on a Thursday afternoon...
Made for some pace of play, especially with other groups on wrong fairways....
Barely got to play the back as it was getting late and it was starting to rain ... obviously not any fault of the course or staff...
Overall, for the price, it was ok ...
Not that bad
The greens are slow will be the only negative I will say after this round. Of course summer has damaged all courses, so not that bad. Tee boxes aren’t the best. If this course had fast greens I would play it more often. Easiest walking course in area.
Needs Work
This course is hurting. Too much crabgrass and bare patches. The crew are accommodating and nice, perhaps too nice. Had a foursome that caused us to play a 5 and a half hour round! When this is the pace SEND THE RANGER OUT! No matter how much you love golf, no one, and I mean NO ONE wants to play for that long in 95 degree weather.
Won’t be back.
Terrible Terrible Terrible
This course is in terrible shape. I’d rather play miniature golf. Played 9
Holes in 2 1/2 hours and walked off
Need to invest in the course
I have played here A number of times over the years, but I am finding a trend that is not positive. There is crabgrass everywhere, including a number of greens. Bunkers are in bad shape, and grass is growing in them. Many of the greens are burnt out, and it is impossible to score under the conditions. It’s hard to impossible to put a tee down because the ground is hard as a rock. I don’t think I will ever play there again especially if they want $35 plus for a round. They are good people running it, but you have to invest to get people to return. I would prefer to spend an additional 10-15$ at other courses to play a real round.
Bad shape
the worse I ever seen this course greens were fried and extremely slow. The young lady with golden with could not even put her tee in the ground i had to do it. Place need alot of tlc.
First timer
Love the layout, nice and challenging.greens and Tee boxes need some work.but that won't stop us from returning
Neshaminy Valley
Course is a fair play. Ball position on the green is a must. Fun course to play .
Great course for the hot deal$$
Great fairways and greens. Tee boxes are really worn down and not taken care of. The one starter has been in two verbal confrontations both times i played there. But overall. Fun easy course for the price.
Poor conditions and unfriendly staff
I had played this course only once before for a quick 9 after work on a weekday. It had been raining for a couple days prior and the course did not drain well but nonetheless, I wanted to go back to experience a full 18 in some nicer weather. When we arrived, we were told to head right out, but there weren’t any carts available. So I had to go back in to ask where they were, response was “oh really. I guess I better go get a couple cleaned up then won’t I.” Followed by complaint after complaint and complaint, even complained about spraying down the carts with the extra spray during this pandemic. “People say working at a golf course is a dream job when you retire. But here I am cleaning down carts.” Then we hit the course, tee boxes in terrible shape, greens had weeds and weren’t cut, could take a full swing with the putter and still leave it short. Clubhouse actually asked for a tip after I had already placed a five in when we stopped at the turn. Had to yell to order because her music was blaring and was just outright rude. Good thing I had won a free for two at a fundraiser. Other than that, won’t be returning
Great price for this course
Got a round of 18 in at 2 pm for $35. Courses around this area charge nearly double so if you want to play on a course for a great price this is where to go.
Tee boxes are hard and it is difficult to get the tee in the ground, but overall I highly recommend checking this place out!
Greens are terrible
Good course for beginners, but the greens are the worst I’ve ever seen at any course I’ve played at. They were burned and not kept. Pace of play was slow because there is no Marshall. There are players in tank tops and basketball shorts playing this course. The fairways were in good shape and staff is friendly but expect a 5 hour round with horrible greens.
