Total dump
Don't waste your time. Greens, fairways and tee boxes all dead. Place is a dump.. worse course I've been on in 35yrs...
Yikes
Obviously this course wasn’t always in the greatest shape in my years of playing here but this time it was worse then a bombed out Afghanistan . Tee boxes mud dirt crab grass you name it . The greens were all burnt out .. very little “green” but spots and sometimes dirt mud combo with the San Andres fault line coming through just stay away
Only play here if you don’t like golf
You’re probably better off playing in your own yard.
Terrible course conditions
It was virtually impossible to putt the greens as they were mainly made up of dirt and had huge cracks all over the green. Most of the tee boxes were dirt and could barley stick your tee in the ground. This course should be charging no more than 25$ a round with cart.
Purpose
I (re) learned how to play golf here. Everything has its place. Hopefully the greens will improve soon, everything else is perfect. Thanks NV!
Do not recommend
It was like playing off of concrete. Played every shot 10-30 yards short because it’ll bounce and roll onto the “green”. Majority of the greens were completely dried out to the point it’s brown/grey with cracks in it. Where there was green it was super spongy and your ball dies. Fairways were dried out dirt/ crabgrass. Also were stuck behind a SIXsome for a 3 hour back 9. Ranger did nothing about it and told us to skip holes if we want to pass them. Is cheap to play but would rather you play oxford valley public course.
Neshaminy Valley
It saddens me to be so negative, but the Greens were in horrible shape. The Fairways were in good shape, but oh my goodness, the Greens were absolutely horrible. The Greens were extremely dried out with enormous brown spots; on some of the Greens, the Greens were mostly dirt, no grass at all. We had great difficulty placing our tees in the ground at every single tee box. The ground was rock hard; we had enormous difficulty inserting our tees into the ground.
This recommendation is weak
Good course for people who don't expect too much. Conditions are not good. Burnt greens, crab grass fairways, and ugly tee boxes. The price is the what draws people
Not pretty but effective
Not a well maintained golf course. Plenty of crab grass and burnt out green plus mud in the fairways. But it's the cheapest 18 holes in around
Great course for a high handicapper
I liked this course a lot because I was able to score some pars as a 30 handicap player sometimes the greens at other courses are too sloped or punishing. The fairways here are reasonable open but still reward straight drives. The tee boxes are full of crab grass and a few of the greens aren’t in very good condition but overall the conditions are adequate for what you are paying
Poor Course Management.
This was the absolute worst golf course I’ve ever played. Staff was friendly, and that’s the only good thing about it.
The tee boxes are uneven and dirt. The fairways are thicker than the first cut at a decent course and the greens are a mix of spongie grass (moss-like) and dirt. Every put hops about 10 times before it gets to the hole (within 10ft). To cap it off, every hole is so chewed up and has a volcano rim (move up at the edge).
I gave it 2 stars due to the staff at the clubhouse always had a smile and were helpful. I would not recommend this course to anyone.
