Great course but..
I love this course but the lack of attention. To the slow pace of play can be infuriating. I've played here 3 times in the last month as part of a foursome of mid handicap players. I think we've had to wait on literally every shot except putts. This past weekend we had 6 groups on one hole (4 waiting at the tee). I have NEVER seem a Marshall on the course, as much as I love playing here, I'm ready to give up because I see no attempt to change this. I have mentioned it in the shop and they're very nice and apologize for the inconvenience, there is nothing done to change.
Cancelled
you sent me a cancellation of my 3:0pm tee time and by the time I was leaving for Berkeleigh there was no place at all to play.
Unreliable, over-priced puffery, just like any self-congratulatory internet enterprise.
Priced too high
It’s really not a bad course but not worth 70 dollars. If you can’t get a hot deal on Golfnow it’s not worth it. Plenty of courses within 30 minutes that are same quality but 20 dollars cheaper.

Good Experience on Memorial Day
Berkleigh was a Pretty nice course. Worth playing at least once.
Not terribly difficult. Fairways are about 50 yards wide, greens are about 60-80 feet in diameter and are mostly circular (as opposed to a severe oval or something), the trees are far off the holes enough not to impose on the White Tee boxes, and the rough is difficult. Some clover makes it hard to find your ball. A couple blind shots, one with with a creek bed within driving distance. There were a couple holes that had the creek bed in play off the first tee, which usually made the hole longer for me because I wasn’t trying to kill it.
But pretty good, and it was a $65 holiday rate. All in all, pretty good value.
Nice track especially for end of November
Slight frost delay, but course was in great shape for end of season would definitely recommend be great if clubhouse finally gets finished
A work in progress
The greens were in great shape. Tee boxes were ok. The rough was extremely long. The cart paths were dreadful.
Due to extensive renovations the amenities are nonexistent. I believe in a year or two this could be a wonderful course again, just be prepared for a less than stellar experience in the meantime.
same old same old
people told me that this course was making improvements... they lied! greens in rough shape... fairways uncut... bunkers are a joke! clearly this woyld be better ad a development of homes
Ill be back
After driving for almost an hour, I was greeted by a partially finished club house, and a pro shop residing in a trailer. I thought, oh boy, the conditions probably aren’t the best. I was immediately greeted by the starter in a cart. He helped me with my bag , and after some pleasantries, I informed him it was my first time playing the course. He explained the layout and parts of the course to avoid, instructed me to check in inside the trailer. I was greeted by a friendly lady, who was also extremely helpful. The “pro shop” had food for the turn, cold sandwiches, chips the usual. I rolled up to the first tee, which was next to the practice green, rolled a few balls, then started my round. I really enjoyed the layout, I felt the holes were challenging, some of the shorter holes had well placed hazards. I would recommend this course to any player. As with all courses in the area, this time of year, there were areas in the fairway you need to move your ball, but overall I though the conditions were very good
Nice course
Course conditions are fantastic! One thing I did notice that I'm not a fan of is the teeing areas are not level.
A little bit on the short side as many holes are 330 to 370 yrds and straight ahead. The layout is a little on the boring side. It does not seem like it would be rated as a 130 Plus on the slope. Seems more like a 124 to a 126. Its a good course for beginners. I hope I don't seem like I'm knocking it too much because it is a good course. Just not my style...
4 stars
Good course. No complaints. No beer for sale so BYOB.
