Was a very nice course, especially for the price!!! Had a great time and would like to play it again!!!
Favorite affordable course
Best bang for your buck at this course. It's had some management turmoil in the past years, but it feels like it's trying to get on the right track. Its slightly longer and difficult than most of the public courses in the area: if you are not consistantly 240+ off the white tees, you will find extra struggles. Garmin is still confused as to what the front and back are though.
Worth the trip.
First time at this course. Traveled an hour and 20 mins for the course. Upon arrival were greeted by the proshop staff. The course layout is nice. Some challenging holes sprinkled in with a few gimmies. Tee boxes were in good shape and the greens rolled true. The only knock against the course was the bunkers were a bit hardpan and the fringes needed a cutting. I understand why as it was 92 degrees with hotter weather all week for a little long on them. Overall a very nice course and for the money and is a must play in my opinion. Well done Berkleigh.
Tee box grass is abnormally long on most holes, grass shavings are not picked up and get on everything, and ended up waiting on almost every shot because the group of 4 in front was slow and not letting just my group of 2 play through. Course is in good condition but I will likely not return.
Great Golf Course
Everything from the staff to the golf course itself was great.
Good condition, very slow greens
Course was in good shape except for:
1 - greens were probably 7 or 8 on the stimp meter. Very firm and in good shape though
2 - traps sand was really shallow
Other than that, it was in really good shape, I really enjoy this course
Rough
Tall rough distracted from much better course conditions experienced in past rounds. Well overdue for a mowing which really slowed the pace of play to find your ball if not in the fairway. Hope this was a one off day.
I would like to give a good review
I booked as a single, and played with 3 other great guys, and I played rather well...BUT, The sand traps were awful, much better at a simple public course, RichMaiden. AND, the rough was very high. I am OK with that, be rewarded by keeping the ball on the fairway....BUT the high rough caused our group to loses 4 balls, that were in play, but we found 6 balls other golfers had lost in the rough...also makes for slow play.

The greens were good a little slow but rolled true I don’t know if it was because of recent weather but the fairways were high there wasn’t much reward for landing on them The overall conditions were good the traps weren’t groomed staff was nice

Well worth the trip
We traveled about 40 mins to play Berkleigh and finished the round in 3 hrs, 15 mins. Greens were immaculate and its only mid-March. Friendly staff, good driving range. Nothing but positives with Berkleigh.
