Flatbush
Flatbush is a solid value course in PA. The layout is decent and there's some interesting features such as elevation changes and doglegs. The conditions were pretty mediocre however with bare spots common throughout the whole course. The ponds had a ton of algae as well. If it was given more work, this could be a 4 star course. Pace of play was excellent the last time I went here, however I have had some slow rounds here as well. Clubhouse and food options are average. Nothing special, but not terrible either. If you're not super picky and are just looking for a cheap round, this is a decent option in this area.
Multiple charges
I used my credit card for 2 players/$90 dollars
I came home and checked
They have charged 3 multiple charges at $90 dollars
Now I need to dispute the charges
What a headache and inconvenience!!!!
Fun
Always fun playing at Flatbush. Everything about this course is pleasing to the eye. Greens are always in good shape. Just a good experience playing Flatbush.
Great Course, Friendly Staff
The course is very well taken care of. There is really no better bang for your buck in the area. It’s a fun course layout with some challenging holes. Staff is very friendly and they offer great drinks at very reasonable prices. Overall great course!
Time for new carts
Decent layout. Nice people. Good value. Very slow play. Bonus was rust bucket cart making it back to clubhouse.
Gem of a course!!
This is a great course to play and a steal for the price. It’s very well kept, is rarely backed up or slow paced and it offers a nice challenge. I come from 45 minutes away just to play here because I really love the course and the staff, and because it’s significantly less expensive to play than courses nearer to my home which run around $60 for courses in similar condition. The carts are a little weathered and worn, but otherwise this course is a gem!! Highly recommend!!
Excellent Value!
I’ve been driving 45 minutes from Baltimore to play this course for 13 years. Comparable courses around me are $50-$60 per round. The course is always in decent shape and a steal for $38. It’s also never jammed on every hole, where you’re always waiting to hit your next shot like some of the Baltimore courses. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only thing I would change is that it’s probably time for them to get new golf carts (although they work). I would pay a higher fee per 18 holes to support new carts. Of course I’ll be back!
Very Slow Pace of Play
Nice course! Condition of the course was average. One complaint is the pace of play. It’s usually on the slow side but today took 5+ hours. Busier than normal but no starter and many smaller groups. 2-3 group backup on every tee box.
Nice to play
Second time playing this course and still in very good shape. Pace was good as we looked to be the only 4-some on the course, every one else playing were doubles and singles so maybe a little slower for them. Still completed the round in under 4 hours.
Did not honor price booked
Love the course… but when we went to pay they charged us more $38 versus $31 booked. Their comment was “ I don’t know where that price came from fit it’s $38”. I showed him the receipt to no avail. Aside from that the course is a good course.
Flatbush
Not crowded, good rate through golf now, course in great shape
Great conditions
Compared to some other courses in the area, this was an upgrade. The layout of the course was a good challenge, but not to the point of not wanting to come back. This course was in great condition from fairway to greens. Definitely looking forward to play this course again.
No pace of play
People lined up at the tee box to start the round. Not the first time it’s happened. No regard for tee times or pace of play. 5 hour round minimum everytime.
