Greens in awesome shape and were aerated 3 weeks ago Photo submitted by vital23byrd on 05/07/2018
In great shape
Right now this course if in great shape and is playing fair. Around August every year, the course gets burnt up.
The front 9 is longer and more challenging. The back is short and gives you plenty of opportunities to make birdies.
The only bad thing was that there was no starter on the Sunday I played. My foursome had to let 2 twosomes and 2 singles play through instead of the course pairing them up with each other. If you go out as a single or a twosome on a Sunday, you should get paired up with another group to avoid this situation.
This course was an excellent choice
Was just looking for a course away from my regular playing tracks and found this to be a very good value and very relaxing. The course was in great shape and the staff was very helpful and polite. Will definitely be going back.
Flatbush
As a local I frequently play here. Flatbush is a very nice course, my only gripe is that the rough is unbelievably thick at spots. I had a few lies that I knew I couldn't get more than 100 yards even with a solid swing. Overall a great place to enjoy golf. I'll be back, and hopefully not in rough!

Great Course
Very pleasant round of golf, the course was in very good condition. Will play again!
Thick Rough
I only go to this course if GolfNow has a good deal because it's not worth the $30+ price otherwise. We arrived at the tee box at our exact tee time yet had two two-somes and four-some right ahead of us on the course. This lead to a very long round. The rough was ridiculously long and thick, if you hit just a couple yards off the fairway you could lose your ball. I'm hoping this was due to the rain we've received lately. Course played fairly easy if you stayed in the fairway, greens are already speeding way up, and the bunkers were a tough out.
Nice course
Windy day but course was in good condition. Play was steady with few people on course in the early pm
par
for 10.00 is was great but I would not want to play for the regular price of 30 something.
Not a pleasent experience.
Arrived at clubhouse and notified staff member that I had booked two separate times because I was originally going as a single and then had a friend decide to join me. He informed me that he only had one reservation, so I showed him both of my confirmation numbers on my golf now app on my phone and that was not acceptable proof for him. I had all the information I needed on my end yet I had to call into golfnow and wait on hold to have the rep tell him that I had booked and paid for both tee times. So a person on the phone was enough for him but not my confirmation numbers really just don't make any sense. Never again, I have layer this course before and decided to try again but will never again.
We had a very enjoyable round of golf.
Clean and maintained. A good variety of challenges. Some easy holes and some very challenging. We had a very good time. Thank you to the staff!
Nice course nice challenge
course was very nice, enjoyed a well paced round of golf. There were 3 fairways on the back nine that were in really bad shape, little to no grass. Also the greens were cut a little long but rolled pretty well.
Solid Course
I was very pleased with the quality of this course. Two holes on the back nine were under repair, but I can only see that as a positive. It's a very nice course in very good condition, and they're making attempts to improve it even more.
There were some very interesting holes that required a variety of shots, so overall it was a very fun round.
Great little course!
Tees and greens were all pretty nice. Three fairways were obviously burned out but had been plugged and reseeded. There is very well placed native grass, water and sand traps that made the course challenging. We will definitely play here again.
Great golf course, that uses the natural terain features, verry well.
Golf course well maintained, staff is friendly and helpful and also has good practice areas (driving range & chip and put green)
Great Saturday afternoon round
I played this course on a day after heavy rains the night before. The course was in excellent shape with the greens rolling true and good conditions in the fairways. Even after a brief 1/2 hour thunderstorm delay the conditions were still good.
The course offers 2 contrasting nines. The front nine is long and pretty wide open with several par 4's measuring over 400 yards. The back nine is not as long. However, shotmaking is a must and you may want to keep the driver in the bag on several holes.
All in all a good course. With golfnow.com a great value at $10.00. Highly recommend.
Nice open course
Played for $10 thanks to golfnow.com. Course was in good shape the greens were almost fully grown back from aerating. They should update there carts that was the worst part of the day.
