Fort Cherry Golf Club

I have played Ft. Cherry many times. It is a typical hill course (all Western Pa. courses are hilly). Nice mix of holes....some water, decent bunkering, plenty of trees to line the fairways. A good test of golf.

Greens are VERY SLOW. Pace of play is even SLOWER because there are no marshalls to move players along. Course conditions (especially tee boxes) need work.

Course was in excellent condition.

loads of twosomes on the course which when in a foursome can have you looking at people standing in the fairway waiting on you.

Course was in great shape and is very well kept. Great for any type of golfers. Some challenging holes but also forgiving with low rough. Highly Recommend. Staff were great.

A buddy and I played Fort Cherry on a scalding hot but sunny and gorgeous summer day. Friendly starter got us off early and we enjoyed a great round. The course gets a lot of play, but the tee boxes were well maintained and divots were all filled, lots of COLD water which really saved the day, and overall conditions were most enjoyable. Even the portajohn was clean on #13. Greens were very nice and consistent. The electric carts have GPS which was a great help. The pub offered cold draughts and the perfect setting to savor my victory. We'll be back.

Golf course was in great shape .

Greens were in great shape and ran true, they were a little slower then usual but with the amount of rain area has received lately it was understandable.

We received alot of rain this week and Sunday it had to rain 2" , was almost reluctant to play anywhere on Monday, that's why we booked the 1:36 tee time, that might have accounted for our fast pace of play.

Course is in good condition; GPS in the carts. It's a great place to play for the "Hot Deals" promo

Always great to meet nice people...but i guess golf usually presents those opportunities...

Considering the amount of rain we’ve had this year, the course is in excellent shape. Nice fairways and the greens were nice.

Course in good condition, everyone was friendly ... etc. we were a twosome but did not have to wait much until the second 9. Only unfortunate issue was the foursome of high school kids ahead of us started to loose consideration on the 17th par 3. As we were waiting to hit they were goofing around throwing clubs into the sand pushing each other , yelling as they took their putts..etc. A golf ball then got thrown back onto the green followed by one of them as I was hitting... unfortunate ... they are young but this kind of behavior should be policed by the staff and eliminated.

I hadn't played this course in three years. I was entertaining a guest from out of town and was very happy with the course conditions and pace of play. We played 36 holes that day and were charged half the cost of our first round. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. They have a very good GPS system in the carts. The greens are in great condition and very challenging. Overall the day at Fort Cherry was very enjoyable.

Golf Now has hit the nail on the head with this course...great value.. good test...and very nice condition...probably should dump the gps..90% of players today have their own yardage devices...and this system tends to slow down play

Booked pretty last minute but easily got on, and for under $20. The course was in really good shape considering the part of the season and weather conditions. I will be going back to play the course the summer.

Course is always in great shape. Wide open layout with several challenging holes. Friendly staff and really nice restaurant on site with full bar. Will definitely be back again.

For the time of year the golf course was in great shape. All aspects of the golf course T's Fairways greens and rough.
