Creative and great replayability
There are more memorable holes here then any other golf course I've played. You even remember the couple of straightaway holes because they are so rare and welcomed after the Machiavellian designs before and after. I saw a group quit after the first three holes, lol. Very exciting course. Challenging for any skill level but playable. I am a high handicapper and scored well the second time I played. Great conditions and infinitely replayable, which I can't say for other courses in this price range or even higher.
Whispering Pine
Stacy was very helpful. Friendly staff in pro shop, restaurant and on the course. A must play when in the area.
Challenging
The front 9 on this course can beat you up quick if you don’t have pretty solid accuracy in your game. It’s not ideal to always look to the driver off the tee box (I made this mistake on multiple holes). Going over the greens on a lot holes will cause you serious grief. The back 9 is a little more casual while still being plenty challenging, however in my opinion the back 9 is more enjoyable for the more middle of the road to casual golfer if that’s where you fall. The greens were pretty quick with plenty of undulations/breaks. The fairways left something to be desired, while not beat up, definitely could use some more TLC when it comes to mowing. All in all a solid course.
Challenging but very playable.
This is a great course to play in the Meadville/Linesville area. It is well maintained for a muni course. I would play it again
Prepare to Be Challenged!
This is one of the most difficult course I have ever played. Challenging layout, elevation changes, and different hazards to avoid. That being said, a beautiful course, well-maintained, and one definitely worth the battle.
Great shape
The course was in great shape. Greens were quick and true. The people were friendly, kind and outgoing.
A must play !
Awesome time !! My wife and I decided to try a new place, and sure glad we did. Owners greeted us and welcomed us. Told us about the course and let me go early as I played as a single had a 12:30pm got off 12:15pm. Took me 3 hours for 18 holes ..My kinda round :). I will say this is a fun course and requires accurate tee and approach shots to score. Greens are probably the best around and fast ! Even though they were punched recently, they rolled well. I Look forward to playing next year when in peak conditions. My new course for a road trip, as it’s 1 hour and 20 min from home ! :) I will play this as much as I can get there.
Great challenging course
This is a very well designed course and well taken care of. One of the most challenging course in the area.
