Sand Traps were flooded
I have played this course many times and it's always been in good shape, however this time playing we found almost all of the traps filled with water. Not just a small amount but filled. They looked more like ponds than sand traps. I know there was rain on Friday and Saturday, but we played on Tuesday. If the traps don't drain on their own, the water should be pumped out of them. If a course can't take care of the sand bunkers, they should fill them in with grass. It's too bad because otherwise it's a decent course.
Decent
This was a decent track for the price. Front 9 greens rolled nice, back 9 was recently punched. I would assume they’ are similar to the front 9 when they heal up.
My only real complaint was the rates on GolfNow were incorrect, I’ve never have had that happen before. I booked a time for $32 of GolfNow and when I arrived they said it was $39 in the pro shop.
Very nice course but slow pace of play on weekends.
One of the best course, excellent fairways and greens. Pace of play slow on the weekends.
Perfect Thursday Round
It is hard to have a bad round of golf when you are one of the few groups on the course. Course was in great shape, weather cooperated, and a couple of outta managed to go in.
