Lykens Valley Golf Course

Overall, great course. Greens were in great condition after a frost delay. Staff was super nice and accommodating and clear about delays. The only real things I could suggest is better signage through the course, pointing to hole directions hole 12-15 has a lot of cart paths that are unclear.

Just wish the life time membership would cost so much because I would love to do the membership because I got diagnosed with life ending medical issues. And its hard for me and the wife to afford some extra activities but golfing is the only thing that has gotten me by last couple of months since I don't have much time. This place is fantastic for being a smaller course and club house people are fantastic and food is great.

Fairways are bare or sparse in a lot of spots. Normal for this course over many years in dry weather. People and rates are great. Tough par 3s.

This was the first time I had played Lykins Valley, and I was extremely impressed with everything about the course. I treated my son to a round of golf in mid-morning, so the cost was a little higher (we did get the GolfNow discount). The course is very long, but because of the extremely dry conditions (the nice man in the pro shop told me they were not allowed to water the fairways due to a water issue in the Chesapeake), the course provided a lot of roll. The staff is extremely friendly; the club house/restaraunt was very nice and affordable. I will definitely play Lykins Valley again in the future, and will definitiely recommend it to my friends!

Greens in great shape. Course in great shape. The director of golf is very kind and knowledgeable.

Aerated 2 weeks ago but still bumpy. Fairways dry for early Spring

A terrific local course. Given the early season play it was perfect. looking forward to going back sometime mid season

The course was fun to play. Lots of trees and some hard dog legs. Choose your clubs wisely. Keep your driver in the bag for a few holes. Even a par 5.

The grass was a little scarce in many places and thr fairways need some work. But I would play there again. It was fun.

I played in September and the greens were absolutely fabulous! The fairways were a little baked out but overall a great course. The par 3’s are lengthy which I liked. I would highly recommend playing this course!!!

Course needs some water. Very dry and high roughs.

Course didn’t seem the same as it had in the past as far as conditions. Was glad to get on at a hot deal and discount on golf pass so for what I paid it was fine.
