Blue/Ridge at Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club
About
Nestled in the rolling hills of northeastern Pennsylvania, Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club offers 27 holes of championship golf that were carefully carved from woodlands and valleys. There are no parallel fairways throughout the entire course, giving each hole a secluded setting. The golf course offers plenty of variety, which has made it a popular venue for outings and tournaments. The holes are divided into nines that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The Blue/Ridge Course is both scenic and challenging. The courses are almost equal in length but the Blue nine is considered slightly more difficult, although the Ridge nine possesses two of the few water holes at the club. Mature trees frame most of the holes and there are also strategically placed bunkers along the greensides.

Excellent course
Hands down one the most challenging courses in the area! You must place your tee shots well, and don't miss hit your approach shots, or you will regret it. From the ponds along the fairways to the dangerous bunkers lining the fairways, your score can easily be punished. The electric carts with built in GPS make the whooping a bit more bearable.
Doesnt live up to the hype
I had heard from several people who had played this coarse over the years said how prestine it was and that the coarse was immaculate. That is not what I found it was slammed on a Thursday afternoon and the fairways tee boxes and some greens where beat up. The front 9 of the coarse was descent but the back was rough. Really expected better. Pace of play was horrible constantly waiting for people ahead of you while others are hitting up on you.
Tough fun course
Blue ridge is a fun challenging course. All three nine hole courses are challenging at any skill level but a lot of fun to play. The course was in excellent shape as it always is.
7:30 tee time 5 hour round
Played last week and teed off at noon. Took 5 hours. Understandable since it was a weekend afternoon. Got a tee time for 7:30 on a Saturday morning. Took 5 hours again. Waited at every tee box with the 4 some in front of us. Never once saw a ranger. Really disappointed.
Great course - Rate pf play is atrocious
I love this course but I don’t think I will ever come here on a weekend again. They send way to many groups out and it becomes impossible to finish 18 under 5 hours. It’s to the point where it really doesn’t make sense to pay the increased weekend charge because it takes so unbelievably long to play. I was talking to some guys I was paired with today and they said they never finish 18 holes because they can’t take waiting so long. Unfortunately I’ll have to only come here after work on weekdays for 9, which still isn’t very quick. Not sure if it was always like this pre COVID quarantine.
Course is in great shape, but only come here if you have a lot of time to burn!
Great 27 hole course
Great course in EXCELLENT shape!
Greens are real quick. Very enjoyable. Will definitely go again.

Blue Ridge doesn't disappoint as its always in great shape and is a good value for the money. The greens were perfect.

Course was great. Definitely Not happy with the “$9.95 Convenience Fee”. Never use you again
Love BRT
This was my second round at Blue Ridge Trail. Like the first time I was greeted by friendly people and the course was in awesome shape!!
Good day of Golf
Course was in good condition. Pace of play was great. Played the Trail and Blue Courses. Courses played long because of the wind.
Surprised to see a beer / snack cart was in use.
Will play here again this year.
Beautiful Golf Course
I live locally (within an hour of the course) and today was the first time I played it. The pro was super friendly and made me feel like it was my home course. The conditions were absolutely perfect!!! The course was beautiful and a great layout. I can’t to play it for the rest of my life!
