Blue/Ridge at Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club

About
Nestled in the rolling hills of northeastern Pennsylvania, Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club offers 27 holes of championship golf that were carefully carved from woodlands and valleys. There are no parallel fairways throughout the entire course, giving each hole a secluded setting. The golf course offers plenty of variety, which has made it a popular venue for outings and tournaments. The holes are divided into nines that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The Blue/Ridge Course is both scenic and challenging. The courses are almost equal in length but the Blue nine is considered slightly more difficult, although the Ridge nine possesses two of the few water holes at the club. Mature trees frame most of the holes and there are also strategically placed bunkers along the greensides.

The only complaint is the pace of play somehow they’ll be backed up on day with less than 20 cars in the parking lot and they have 27 holes besides that it’s great.
For it being November the course is in great shape the maintenance crew at blue ridge trail is great!
Fantastic course, price, and conditions
Played on a cool Friday, and the pace was fast. Never waited on a tee.
Greens and tee boxes were in great shape. Probably the best I've played in the Poconos this year. It's also an interesting course. Very good design, but not particularly long.
Given the quality of the course (and GPS in the carts), the price is really good. I'd play here regularly, but it's a long drive for me. Overall, an excellent day.
Beatiful Fall Outing
Booked a lee time the morning of my round, Tuesday 10/24/23 Just two of us and no other golfers were added to our group! There was a foursome in front of us who could have moved a little faster. We didn't let it ruin our day. The started got us out before our tee time. She was very pleasant, thanks!
I always enjoy paying Blue Ridge Trail. Great staff, great course, and for me great weather every time.
Great despite rain
A very nice course. I play here once a year, meeting a friend halfway. We each drive 3 hours, and we played Jack Frost the afternoon before. They were running a tournament, but with 27 holes still had room for us. We each donated $20 after they told us the tournament raised money for veterans to spend time at a camp about an hour away. Sounded like money well spent. It poured rain for a few holes and the carts immediately informed us it was cart path only, which made plenty of sense. Highly recommend this course.
Outstanding value!
My wife and I are recently retired and are doing a 50 state golf challenge. We are so glad we chose Blue Ridge Trail for our PA course. By far the best value of any we have played. Very nicely laid out course with great turf conditions all around. Greens were a little tough to read but true and just the right quickness. Staff was very friendly and the philly cheese steak sandwich was outstanding. Highky recommend and hope to be able to play it again on our next trip through the area.
KM review
Played 2 of the 3 courses. Beautiful golf course and in excellent condition. Carts have GPS screens.. many traps and hazards. Very scenic.
Great conditions but painfully slow pace
I’ve come here a couple of times. You would think that with three 9 hole courses, there would be better management for tee times and faster play but it’s not. They overbook the tee times and have no course management of pace of play. Beautiful course but just wish there was a better structure for pace of play. Round of 18 took 5 and a half hours as a reference. And that’s with using a cart
BRT delivers
Anyone who lives within 30 minutes of BRT should play this course once a week. I drive ~1.5 hours to play here, and gladly do so. Its a treat to golf this track, though in the 4xs I've done so, I haven't been able to play the Trail course. The Pro shop said they got 0.7" of rain the night before my round. The course drains beautifully. A little squishy in places, but acceptable. No faking it with ball striking. If you didn't make ball contact first, you got immediate feedback. The staff is friendly and accommodating. An overall enjoyable experience.
Nice Conditions
Course was in great shape. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Course drains well
I thought the place would be a swamp after the rain we had the day before but it drained well. Cart path only always sucks but we expected it.
Grees recently punched and topdressed Ridge was a little bumpy but Trail was a little more puttable. If we don't get hammered with anymore rain, the course should be perfect if a few days.
Best course around but people don’t fix their ball marks on greens which is crazy
Nice Course.
Course is great. They were aerating a few fairways and only reason for not getting a 5 star in that category.
