Blue/Ridge at Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club
About
Nestled in the rolling hills of northeastern Pennsylvania, Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club offers 27 holes of championship golf that were carefully carved from woodlands and valleys. There are no parallel fairways throughout the entire course, giving each hole a secluded setting. The golf course offers plenty of variety, which has made it a popular venue for outings and tournaments. The holes are divided into nines that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The Blue/Ridge Course is both scenic and challenging. The courses are almost equal in length but the Blue nine is considered slightly more difficult, although the Ridge nine possesses two of the few water holes at the club. Mature trees frame most of the holes and there are also strategically placed bunkers along the greensides.

Great conditions but painfully slow pace
I’ve come here a couple of times. You would think that with three 9 hole courses, there would be better management for tee times and faster play but it’s not. They overbook the tee times and have no course management of pace of play. Beautiful course but just wish there was a better structure for pace of play. Round of 18 took 5 and a half hours as a reference. And that’s with using a cart
BRT delivers
Anyone who lives within 30 minutes of BRT should play this course once a week. I drive ~1.5 hours to play here, and gladly do so. Its a treat to golf this track, though in the 4xs I've done so, I haven't been able to play the Trail course. The Pro shop said they got 0.7" of rain the night before my round. The course drains beautifully. A little squishy in places, but acceptable. No faking it with ball striking. If you didn't make ball contact first, you got immediate feedback. The staff is friendly and accommodating. An overall enjoyable experience.
Nice Conditions
Course was in great shape. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Course drains well
I thought the place would be a swamp after the rain we had the day before but it drained well. Cart path only always sucks but we expected it.
Grees recently punched and topdressed Ridge was a little bumpy but Trail was a little more puttable. If we don't get hammered with anymore rain, the course should be perfect if a few days.
Best course around but people don’t fix their ball marks on greens which is crazy
Nice Course.
Course is great. They were aerating a few fairways and only reason for not getting a 5 star in that category.
Awesome Course
This course by far is one of the best courses in the Poconos. Staff and starters were excellent and always very friendly. Highly recommend this course to anyone who plays golf.
Love this course. Well maintained, efficiently run, great value. Wish it wasn’t so far away.
Fantastic Course but terrible pace of play
I religiously play golf at this beautiful course, but there always seems to be only one problem…. The pace of play. I never understood why people who have never played the game of golf before come to this course. Either that or this course just seems to take in as much money as possible. I can finish a slow round of golf in about 3 hours, and that is with my awful swing. If I can do it, so can you. I’ve never quit in the middle of a round until this year, and I have done so twice already, because I wanted to save the headache and not wait another 4 hours to finish my remaining two holes of golf. Don’t let me fool you. It’s a fantastic course, but something needs to be done about the pace.
Great course
Awesome layout met some great people to play with. One from Savannah, Pittsburg and this other young man from Connecticut. Great group of every day American. Highly recommend playing this course
