Golfer Reviews
Good value!
Links-style course, generally in good shape. Greens small and challenging. More than the normal share of uphill holes and/or approaches. Two par 3’s in a row (a little unusual) on the back nine. Enjoyable.
FIRST TIMERS
IT WAS OUR FIRST TIME, AND WE ENJOYD THE COURSE. LOT'S OF ROOM FOR OFF THE FAIRWAY SHOTS. COURSE WAS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. WILL GO BACK IN THE FUTURE.
Good for us shorter hitters
Course is hilly but not long. Greens were faster and a little trickier than I remember (its been a couple years).
Good course but overbooked
I would give this course a higher rating but they managed it poorly. We had a 9:15 tee time on a Saturday. As we were approaching the first tee, a staff member told us that they had a shotgun start at 1:00 so we needed to be off the course by that time. Under a 4 hour round on a Saturday? We had to wait on every hole for the foursome in front of us. They had no one in front of them. The marshal caught up to us on the 7th hole. We told him about the pace of play problem but he didn't address it with the group in front. On the 17th tee box, he told us that they delayed the shotgun and told the group in front to pick up the pace. On the 18th tee, 2 of our group teed off when a flock of golf carts started coming up the cart path towards us. We ended up hitting anyway. It turned out that the marshal hurried everything is that he had to leave shortly after the shotgun started. Again, it's a nice course that was in great shape. I would play it again, but I'll ask about booked events beforehand.
We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. We are going to pass on your feedback to the team. Thanks for visiting Lebanon Valley Golf Course, and we hope to see you again in the future.
Can’t beat it for the money
Shorter course but one of my favorites in the Lebanon area. Staff are great, course is always well maintained, fair prices on food and beverage items.
Thoroughly Impressed!
This was the first time I’ve played here and I’ve played 30 times this season. This course was an hour drive for me but I’ll definitely be back.
The first thing I noticed was they had new high quality clubs for sale(Scotty Cameron’s, etc.) and the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly.
The green fees were a very good value and half the cost of some of the similar quality courses closer to the city.
My favorite hole was the par 3 that shoots over a valley to an esthetically pleasing green lined with a Large rock wall.
The course had a lot of elevation changes which was pleasantly surprising being surrounded by farm land.
Lastly, they have a very cool, long bridge that is one of the hidden gems of the course tucked away in the woods.
Highly recommend and will be back soon.
First time here
We enjoyed the course and the grass was beautifully maintained especially for so late in the season but we found the lack of sight lines from many of the tee boxes disconcerting. Often we had to head to the top of a rise to ensure we weren’t hitting blind into the group in front of us. The cart paths could use some attention but otherwise a great day of golf!
