About
Grand View Golf Club in North Braddock is one of the area's most challenging layouts. The course's 160 acres were carefully carved from a woodland hilltop. From its perch, the golf course overlooks the Mon Valley with views stretching to the Edgar Thompson facility, Western Pennsylvania's first and last major steel mill. The distinctive layout will test your creative shot-making skills. It may seem relatively short at 6,111 yards from the back tees but it feels much longer thanks to the rolling fairways and undulating greens. The tight fairways are lined with cliffs, brush, and trees, leaving little room for error. You should also be prepared for forced carries and tricky doglegs. Grand View Golf Club can be punishing for the low handicapper, but high handicappers will find this course to be a unique test of their skills.

Won’t be coming back
Greens in good condition and great views were the only positives from this round. Tee boxes were in horrible condition. Blind shots on nearly every par 4. I won’t be playing this course again.
Eh
Amazing view and a huge potential. A tough course for first timers, a lot of blind shots from the tee, fairways that lead to OB’s. Grass was absolutely horrible, a lot of dead grass on the fairways and tee’s were a big pile of dirt/sand. Apart from the course the staff were amazing and great deals on beverages and food.
Fun and challenging course
Fun course with a handful of the holes that will leave you in trouble if you don’t hit him straight. It would’ve been cheaper to book straight through the course though as they had a twilight special going on. It cost me an extra five dollars to book through the app.
Needs some love, but fun and hard!
Course was not easy with a lot of tight fairways and blind shots, but was fun and hard!
Hole 14 was such a step decline that your ball will plug if you hit the green.
Excellent views. Tee boxes need some love as do a couple of greens!
Our twosome got paired with a Canadian couple who were fun!
Quirky course
A quirky course for sure. A lot of blind tee shots and blind second shots. A lot of target golf which I love. Give me a tight 300 yard hole over a wide open 350 yard hole any day. Very nice views overlooking the river to Kennywood. The par 3 14th was the cherry on top. 160 yards and played like 110, ok. Missed some birdies, made one. Can’t complain about a 79 my first time there.
Incredible layout/views
Played this course while visiting the area from out of town. Perfect place to play with some friends if you’re looking for a fun course in the area.
