Bang for your buck
The only thing holding this course back are it's tee boxes (and the cart paths if that bothers you). It is legitimately difficult to find a flat spot on more than half the tee boxes. With the negative out of the way, the course is going to be the best value for play. Fun layout, challenging greens, and an opportunity to shoot well if you stay in bounds.
Manor golf club
Course was in decent shape. Greens were sprayed with a green-dyed liquid that may have been both a fertilizer and a dye to make them appear more lush. Weather has been harsh lately. Grass quality was good. Layout is hilly with several holes with blind shots.
We are happy to hear you had a great day at the Manor and enjoyed our starter, Steve. We love having him there on weekends to not only keep our tee organized, but to provide some great humor to start your round! Thanks for playing and special thanks for taking the time to provide your feedback! Cheryl Heckman, Owner
Exceptional course with friendly staff
It was our first time playing this course. The owner was very friendly and had lots of great tips. The course was in great condition!
Thank you for your kind words! We're so happy you enjoyed your first visit and the condition of our course.
A great weird course
My friends and I joke that if you are playing with a friend from out of town that you really want to beat, take them to Manor. There are greens near the woods where a good shot may be lost, and blind approaches. Fairly extreme elevation changes. A challenging short course. And the staff is wonderful.
Thank you for highlighting both the challenging aspects of our course and the dedication of our staff. We're glad you and your friends enjoy the unique experience Manor offers.
difficult lies
uphill, downhill, side hill...many difficult lies to hit into smallish greens
We appreciate your feedback on our course's varied terrain and the challenge it presents with the small greens. Thank you for sharing your experience with us.
Nice day
First time playing the course - greens fast, good conditions, and good layout with some funky holes. I would recommend
Thank you for the positive review and recommendation! We're thrilled to hear you enjoyed the fast greens and the unique layout of our course.
Soggy
Nothing they could do about it as it rained all day Saturday. The pace was the best I have experienced in a while. Very busy but we barely waited, even on #2.
Staff was accommodating when most of my group cancelled at last minute because of cart path only.
Always enjoy playing this course
Thank you for taking the time to post your review! I appreciate your acknowledgement of the wet conditions, and appreciate you noting despite those conditions, you enjoyed a good pace of play and were treated well by our staff! We appreciate you choosing the Manor and hope to see you again soon!

We appreciate your feedback and are glad to hear that you enjoyed the pace of play during your recent visit, despite the rainy weather conditions. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review!
Ah the simplicity of an Alex Findlay design.
I've played quite a few of his courses and this one did not disappoint. There are a lot of elevation changes that leave you guessing which club to play. It's a good walk. Findlay used what was given and turned it into a challenge. Not real long but a lot of the shots made you stop and think. I liked it alot. The staff was friendly also.
Thrilled to see you enjoyed our Alexander Findlay designed course! We have lots of history here-there are rumors that his best friend Harry Vardon and later British Open champ Bob Locke played here! We appreciate you taking time to acknowledge our staff-they truly are a wonderful asset to the business and they share the passion for the game! If you are into the history, please check out in june the Golf Assoc, Philadelphia (GAP) video and article that will cover the history of the Manor. Thank you again, and we look forward to having you back at the Manor soon.
