A great course to play
Greens are immaculate shape and fairways like a carpet its a phenomenal 👌 course to play
Greens were very receptive
Enjoyed my round with Jim, Woody & Roger as we teed off from three different tee boxes. They were very cordial to me! I believe the USGA should rate Shepherd Hills with higher slope numbers as it is a tricky course for me.

nice course with a variety of challenges. Course well kept
This course is good for beginners.
The course wasn’t very crowded, so the pace was much better than the last time we played here.
Decent course
There were some areas of the fairway that had standing water, the greens were slow but in good shape overall.
Nice day at Shepherd Hills
Course was pleasantly green and soft, especially considering the very hot and dry weather we are experiencing this summer.
Nice Layout, Painfully Slow Greens
Shepherd Hills is a nice neighborhood course. It's a pretty nice layout with some challenging holes. My biggest complaint is that the greens might be the slowest I've ever played on in my life. I don't know if they've ever been rolled. And while not the fault of the course, someone in front of us played in baseball cleats leaving the already soft greens in even worse condition.
Great Tight Course
Acceptable conditions and challenging enough. Pace of play and friendliness of staff keep me coming back. It’s a compact layout and great course for Amateurs. Would recommend to anyone in the game.
Greens were very receptive
We have not had much rain lately and the rough area is pretty hard. Stay in the fairways and you'll have no strange bounces. The greens were very good and they have to be a little slow right now.
