Rapid City Elks Club Golf Outing
Course was in excellent condition!! A few light showers as well as a challenging course made for great afternoon of golf. Probably my favorite course in the Rapid City area. I look forward to playing this course again!
Budget-friendly outings
There are nicer courses with more amenities, etc. but no better budget-friendly track in town. We need more folks to do a better job fixing ball marks on the greens (it's not that hard) but the course is maintained well and you can get out at the last minute.
Fun layout, great conditions
Staff is very friendly, courteous, and helpful. I always enjoy playing this course, has a unique, fun, and challenging layout. Conditions were awesome for this time of year and the greens were pure.

Awesome golf
This day was a little windy and cold, after the first nine we got rained out but it was an enjoyable day. Staff was good, good course conditions and an all-around good day. As always with golf now we had no problems getting our stuff our cart everything was perfect.
Great day with friends
Perfect day. Greens aren't quite perfect yet but it was a long winter. Staff, pace of play and the course were all great.
Yardage Markers
This course is a joy to play, the course is well kept and I enjoy the variation from hole to hole. The only complaint that I have about this course is that they apparently don't want you to know any of the distances to the greens. It would take so little effort to put a little colored stake in the middle of or by the fairway but they don't. You also get no indication of distances to important things like a water hazard that cuts the fairway in half. If you've played here a ton, it isn't a big deal, if you haven't, good luck.
Perfect Vacation Outing
I was looking for a nice local course to play while visiting Rapid City that wouldn't cost me an arm and a leg. I watched for the price to go down to $15, and jumped on it. My experience was worth much more than $15. Visiting from Nebraska, I enjoyed the unique scenery that the course had to offer. I would highly suggest this course for anyone visiting the area. I was able to get the best deal by booking the night before my tee time (2:30 PM).
Fun and Pretty Course
Perfect weather always makes any course better, and that is what we had. However, this very well kept and staff friendly course has a lot going for it. The variability of the terrain, both hazards and traps, verticality, etc., was excellent. At no time did on feel he was playing a hole he had played before. The back nine was more challenging than the front, but prettier. This course is a gem. Highly recommend for the intermediate golfer.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Fun course and great facilities on location.
Great Elks Course
As a Travelling Elk we were able to stay at their on site RV Park and play 9 holes in the morning. Friendly Pro Shop and great lounge. Course in great condition and fun. Will return.
Nice small town course
Front 9 is nice layout, lots of room, wide fairways, tricky par 3s. #8 is a world class hole- reachable par 5 but not worth the risk as green area is very tight with water.
First 4-5 holes on back 9 routes thru houses and are pretty mundane. Final 4 are top notch tough holes.
Greens break more than you think, course needs more yardage markers
Hot and wet
The first 14 holes it was very hot and the greens where fast, then it rained for about 15 minutes and the greens slowed down and made putting easier. the day was a great day.
Good place to play
Check in was easy, Matt check us in very nice guy it was a good start for a good day and the price was good going thru GolfNow the course was excellent wish I wasn't just passing thru would come back again
