Not What It's Billed As
Kuehn Park calls itself a golf course that is "fast and fun." Well, they got the fast part right, but the course itself is one of the least fun courses I've played.
As a par 30, executive style course, I was expecting fairly open conditions with receptive greens that are on the slow side. Instead, Kuehn Park presents a layout with overgrown trees, and large, firm greens that don't hold shots at all. I can't imagine a beginner trying to get a chip shot to stay on these greens.
The 3rd hole is the most egregious example of the problems with this course. A 222 yard par 3, it actually requires a draw to reach the green because of overgrown trees. I missed the green to the right and despite having plenty of green to work with, I was not able to stop a flop shot chip within 10 feet.
With the right maintenance, I could see Kuehn Park being fun. But as it stands today, I cannot recommend it.
Sucked
Customer service is bad, managers lie, they upsell and force you tee off early. it was all a very unpleasant experience.
