Bad course management
This course did not look like the pictures the greens were filled with dead crack grass which made it unplayable very dissapointing the tee boxes were not even able to have a tee stuck in them as well.
Scorched Greens
I’ve played this course about 20 times. Always a fun round but the greens have gone to complete shambles. I’ll be surprised if they have many more seasons.
The greens and course maintenance
The greens of this course are total garbage. Half of them are dirt and have cracks all in them. If you hit the green in regulation you might as well chalk up a 3-4 putt. It is awful. Their soda machines don’t work outside and they shut down the inside at 4 so if you are thirsty good luck. They don’t have coolers on the course either. So no water at all. You Have to bring your own. Literally not worth the money. Most of the time it’s over $35 for 18 holes which is a total joke. Never going back. Ever. Ever. Ever. Ever.
Course was worth the hot deal.
Greens where terrible. Has rain before we played. However, they where burned up. If you can get a deal play worth it. But full price definitely not.
Don’t waste ur money!
It use to be a good course, but due to poor management they are understaffed, choose to get new carts vs. putting money into the course. Fairways are decent they are losing most all of there greens to fungus hadn’t been mowed for days. Dead trees and broke limbs hanging everywhere. Not worth the money really even it’s cheap.
Unacceptable!
Course was in decent shape. Greens were hard but rolled good on most putts.
MOWING CREW WAS DICKHEADS! Twice drove up on us. Once we were teeing off and drove straight at us for over 100 yards! Second time we were putting and drove within a few feet of green!
Love this course
Lakes was closed due to the amount of rain we’ve received recently, so we played the pines and the woods. Overall the course was in decent shape except for hole 3 on the woods. Not many people like that hole, but the fairway on that hole specifically is in the worst shape I’ve ever seen it. Grass was super sparse and where it was, it was ankle deep, but where it wasn’t, it was exposed clay mud. Other than hole 3, it was in good shape for Tri Cities.
Rough on woods course was unkept. Fairways are in pretty good condition. If you go play, I would suggest pines and lakes courses. Greens are rolling good just a little hard.
T C G C
We have played at Tri Cities for many years. We especially love the layout and the course conditions along with the friendly staff.
Spiked and dressed.
Great Staff and splendid pace of play. Greens were punched and dressed. Looking forward to play next month.
Early Season Golf
Outstanding early spring day for golf. Course beginning to green up. Greens plugged and sanded. Wind damage to trees evident. All in all, a good day to start the season.
Could be nice
The course is going down. Several trees are down from wind damage. There are several big sink holes on the course that have been there for years, just getting bigger. There are no course rangers, play is very slow. They allow 5-6 people to play together in a group and it backs up everybody else. This makes people mad and they start skipping holes and going around these slow groups and it’s a real mess. I only play there because it’s so close to my house.
Another great day of golf
Spent Veteran's Day with my brother on the course we've played the past few months. Got another hot deal and had a great day of golf! We will be back!
