Crockett Ridge Golf Course

This has nothing to do with their current renovation on the back 9. I will be excited to see that complete. However, they had cross cut their greens and not rolled them. It was like trying to putt on shag carpet. On top of that it appears that theybare trying to help the greens to heal. Greens were simply atrocious.

Also, they allowed a group of 7 to play back to back (1 group of four and 1 group of 3.) Naturally those groups are going to play along with one another which put us 20 minutes behind pace on our round. When you only have 9 holes open, and that is allowed, it causes a major backup on the course. There were 4 different groups from tee to green on the 9th hole.

Great conditions. Course is in excellent condition.

It looks like the greens are on their way to recovery.

Crockett Ridge has been having issues with their greens for over two years. The greens have markedly improved, but they aren't as good as they once were.

Crockett Ridge had issues with their greens a year ago however, they were in good shape and the fairways were great.

The greens have been in bad shape for about 3 years. They have improved, and have much fewer grassless spots; but they have a nongreen type grass invading the greens and putt very slow. The course once had some of the best greens around.
