My home course
This has been my home course for the last 13 years since I moved into the area. Now I do not think I will be back. Staff has gone through some changes and ever since the local college took over it has gone down hill. This past weekend was the final dagger. When you call and reserve a tee time and have friends drive from hours away to play and get to the corse and they take your tee time away for college practice then tell you “there is nothing I’m going to do to help you” is very unprofessional. There are other courses in the area to play but this was my favorite and I played there at least once a week for years and years. I will not return and I will recommend finding another course to people new in the area. I hope Matt can get this course back to where it once was, it’s a shame to see how it is handled now.
Terrible shape
Still hand limbs down and strewn all over from the ice storm. Tee boxes full of broken teedls. Not like it was maintained in the past. Terribly disappointed
Great Course
Great course but holds a lot of water in the bunkers.
Great little course
Course is always in good shape. Early in the year so grass still needs to come in but a good course for all playing levels.
No food?
Course was superb. It’s almost dead winter, and greens were perfect. Rolled true and very well kept. But where the heck is a bar and grill in the club house?!
Fun Course with Challenging Par-4s
Greens were firm and fast, but putted true. Bermuda fairways were starting to go dormant; lies in the fairways were still good. Pace of play was a bit slow on the front, but once a foursome quit at the turn, play was fast. Finished 18 holes in just over 3 hours.
Great Course and Staff
Course perfect, weather perfect, and staff was great as usual. Great place to play every time.
disappointed
right now would not recommend as they are working on back 9 and could only play first 9 twice. Everyone playing 2 times, back up and long waits. Very disappointing that we were not told this up front before booking
Nice course
Played on a Sunday at 740. Course was in great shape and pace of play was good. Course is a little short, but makes up for that in shot selection. Not just a grip and rip it wide open type of place. Loved it.
Small target greens
I liked the small target greens this course had. It made you focusing on aiming small vs. most courses that have large greens and you’re just hoping to land it on. Pace of place is great because of the golfers who were there. Played through 4 holes as a single and finished my round in a little over two hours. From the tips of your a long and straight hitter; your second is a short iron at most on the par 4s. I would play this course again when I’m back in town.
The course rates should be lower
This course is extremely popular because of the local college. It can be confusing if your not really paying attention from hole to hole. There is another much better course just a few miles away that has a better layout and is cheaper price
Cold day for Golf
There was a lot of standing water from the rains the night before but the course was still fun to play. It just seemed like certain areas didn’t drain properly. I will okay there again.
Horrible course no grounds keeping
The course is absolutely horrible! The people are just setting inside of clubhouse watching tv and on phones while course has so many pine cones and lI MB’s laying on fairways and tee boxes you have to clear them yourself just to play. I played there 3 times this week hoping they would get it cleaned up but they didn’t. We lost 5 new balls in the first fairway due to so many range balls in it cause they haven’t picked them up in no telling how long
Ridiculous
40$ to walk this course on Nov 2nd with sand punched greens and unplayable bunkers is a crime, shame on you. Could hardly putt. No winter rates, still have to pay trail fees while walking. Paying for a cart I’m not using, hmmmm. Ridiculous.
Good day
Mid October. It was chilly. Wet but it was a good morning. A couple towels we needed to wipen clubs an balls off but that's part of it. Course was in pretty good shape overall. It's drains great. Overall me and my buddy had a great time. We play there as much as we can
