Great Vacation Golf
Had a very relaxed and enjoyable round. Good variety but not penal golf so great vacation golf. The course was in great shape, bunkers raked, sand nice, greens rolled well and fairways were in great condition.
The small restaurant in the clubhouse had several pies on the menu.
A great, comfortable golf course.
Excellent mountain course
This course was awesome. A good combination of tight mountain holes and then wide open holes that let you relax a little bit. And the greens were fantastic, firm and fast and true. The best greens we've played on all week. The first time you play it would be helpful if you had an app that showed you what was in front of you, you can't see everything
Play
Very nice course. Enough water, trees, hills to be challenging. Greens are in pretty good condition. Some tuffs of grass on fairways/around greens. Got 'hot deal' on GolfNow. For this price it was a steal!! Had a very good time. Folks were very friendly.
Great day of golf
The staff was friendly and quite helpful! The course was in excellent condition! The greens were fast and a little difficult, but I know they will soften in a couple of weeks. I love this place!
Beautifully Maintained
Lucked out! From start to finish excellent. Friendly informative staff. Timely start with a really nice pace of play. Course was in pristine condition, perfect greens and fairways, traps very playable (if you like traps). Good challenging holes, plenty of risk reward. We liked it so much, played it again the next day. I would give it a 10!!
But for the excruciating pace...
Really nice, all-around golf course. Great breakfast (and reasonably priced). Layout features trees more than the namesake lake (only heard boats and never saw them on one hole) Back is a real test. Enjoyed this one a lot. EXCEPT for the 5 hr round.
Great course
I am a timeshare owner for 20 yes and have been coming to lake Tansi for over 40 yrs. I have been bringing a group of 12-20 players 2 times a year for over 25 yrs. this place is always in Great shape every time we come. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. I recommend this for anyone who loves to play
Very well kept course!
We just love this course! Always in perfect condition. We travel from Ohio every year to play Tennessee golf and we usually play there twice. We brought friends this year and they said they're coming with us again next year! You wont be sorry and the price is right for a course of this caliber. Food in the clubhouse is very tasty.
Vacation Golf
Fairways and greens are excellent, rough is inconsistent with bare areas and heavy turf which made shots out of the rough difficult. Greens are very fast and difficult to read.. Overall a great course for average to experienced golfers.
Excellent conditions
The greens and fairways are in excellent condition. Played in 3 1/2 hours.
A great time!
We played Really fun couples scramble and enjoyed the company of Glen and Sandy for the first time. Hope to be able to do it again soon.
Great Track
We enjoyed this course so much. We are staying at Fairfield Glade Resort where there’s 5 courses, all wonderful, but if you want bang for your buck, I highly recommend Lake Tansi. We were paired with the nicest guy who plays Tansi often and he was so helpful with his course knowledge. The course is in great shape, the greens roll true and the pace of play was excellent.
