Lake Tansi Resort

The course was in good shape, but the greens were bumpy due to airation.

We played on actual green grass! This was the 8th round we played on our vacation to Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee. This course was in the best shape of any we played. It is a very playable course and we enjoyed it very much.

Staff kept telling me I didn’t need to use GolfNow because of fees. I don’t pay fees with GN. After accusing me of being an idiot for using GN we went to the course where the driving range was closed due to being too wet. Greens were aireated and you literally sunk to your ankles in mud in the middle of the fairway. Lost 3 balls due to them plugging in the fairway. Course was unplayable! Not worth 35.00 in those conditions. I’m sure it will be better in the future but they need to post the conditions b4 charging you 35.00 for a mud bath!

Course was immaculate as usual. Greens very well maintained and consistent. Just a fantastic course. Pro shop attendant and some staff could be a bit friendlier but not rude by no means.

Lake Tansi is always kept in great condition even for this time of the year they had punched the greens in preparation for aeriating but they weren’t bad. The only draw back to the round was a slow group in front of us that we caught up on the front 9 , they were not playing ready Golf. Then in the back we caught up to a group of 5, they could have let us play thru but they did not. I wish they would remind people to play ready golf if they have people waiting behind them!

Considering all the rain and cold weather the course was in good condition with a few rough areas. The only complaint is after we made the turn there were two groups in front and the twosome group ahead of the group in front of us was really slow. It was too cool to stop and continually wait so we skipped two holes so we could finish.

This course is not the longest, but it is protected the the greens which are generally fast. The back nine is the tougher of the two, and the final two holes are a test to your game.

Very nice course. We teed off at 12:30 figuring we would be lucky to finish 18 holes before dark. Pace of play was perfect and we finished up about 4:00. Great round.

Challenging course, greens were incredibly nice. Staff was very understanding when we had a problem on course, shout out to the ranger and gentleman in the pro shop, thank you!. Only issue was cart paths only throughout winter months, still great value, we will play again.

Course was as always well maintained. Winter restriction of "Cart Path Only" was a bit of a pain but understand that helps keep the course in great condition for us all. I've played this course for 35 years and it is one of my favorites. No awe inspiring views but just a really good golf venue.

As it had rained, there were a number of cart path only areas which made the pace a little slower and therefore difficult to finish by sunset when the time changed. Our 12:40 tee time would not have allowed us to finish had the couple playing with us not quit the last few holes, and even then it was dusk. Would like to play again on a dryer, warmer day...could not beat the bargain Golf Now offered, however.

The course was in awesome condition, we got a great deal through Golf Now and had a blast.

I love playing this course because the staff is always friendly and the course is always in great shape from tee to green. The staff here takes pride in making even the little things at the course look great and it shows.

Course was in great condition and they do a great job. I play here several times a year. Booked directly through Lake Tansi website, which links to golfnow. Was disappointed that the staff make me feel inferior that I booked with GoflNow? Course was wide open and not busy,. We got to the course early but were told we couldn't tee off early because we booked through golfnow and had to wait on the other unrelated twosome. There was about 25 minutes we had to wait with nobody teeing off. If we would have just booked a tee time at the pro shop, then we could have went off within the available space. It wasn't a big deal, but thought that it was strange that online bookings through their website seemed to be an inconvenience for the staff. The rate we paid was no better than the walk up rate, so not sure of the issue.

Some interesting holes throughout the course. Challenging par-3's. Makes me want to play it again to see if I can do better.

Great experience. Course was in good shape. Excellent value with the hot tee time
