Twelve Stones Golf Club
About
Twelve Stones Golf Club (formerly known as Twelve Stones Crossing) sprawls across rolling hills, making the golf course known for its dramatic elevation changes. An even lie will be hard to find and golfers will also have a few blind shots in store for them. The undulating terrain makes for some difficult holes but it serves another, more player-friendly purpose of providing scenic respite with idyllic views of the surrounding countryside. The greens are lightning fast, but they roll true and there is rough bordering the well-manicured fairways. There are also several bunkers strategically placed throughout. It is a golf course that is challenging but still fun to play, a statement that holds true for a wide range of skill levels. Given the versatile design and affordable rates, Twelve Stones Golf Club is a popular venue for tournaments and outings.

Course Review
GPS beeped with no alert way too often. Very annoying. Could not drive cart in rough even it was barely of fairway. Seems the programming could be more precise.
Making a comeback!
One of my favorite courses in the area to play. Plagued with always changing ownership, the new owners shut it down a few months this summer and changed out the greens. A positive! It was getting unplayable therefore I haven't played in a while. Wanted to see what had changed. I think it's making a comeback. Not quite 67.00 worthy yet but I like the direction it is going.
Awful greens!
I was looking forward to playing here after the course reopened recently. The ‘new’ greens were in bad shape, sand, bare spots and very inconsistent. Tee boxes were the same, if you want to work on your bunker play come here!
We apologize for the condition of the greens and tee boxes during your recent visit. We appreciate your feedback and will take it into consideration as we work to improve the playing conditions for our customers. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.
Needs a lot of time still
Greens are in bad shape, need a lot of time still.
Coming off a renovation I would have expected better conditions. Full sand tee boxes, very long bumpy greens make it impossible to roll a ball. Love the course but just needs a ton of time and new tee boxes
We appreciate your feedback regarding the current state of the greens. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us.
Overpricer
It was $40 to play two months ago. They've changed the grass on the greens and now it's $90. Unbelievable. I've been playing this course for 10 yrs and I will NEVER play it again. Same ole rounded slanted tee boxes and tight lie fairways, but hallelujah, it's got different grass to putt on which was fine before. And grumpy old Bo is still the starter so be careful. You'll see. The rest of the staff are great. Country Hills is a mile up the road for half the price.
We appreciate your feedback and apologize for any dissatisfaction you may have experienced. We understand the frustration with the increase in prices and the changes to the greens. Thank you for your loyalty over the past 10 years, and we value your opinion.
Vacation Golf
Great course to play if visiting Nashville. Challenging, reasonable, and nice price!
Wonderful course
The course layout was terrific. Greens were fantastic. Tee boxes were rough and some of the fairways had dead spots. But not surprising given the weather so far this year.
Grass Under Duress
Ample parking. Clean and sharpe golf carts. GPS on all carts. From the first to the last tee box, all showed serve signs of winter kill. Fairways are also in the same condition throughout the course. Greens are slow and also show signs of winter kill. However, during the round I did see trailers of sod being delivered and sent out to various locations around the course. So a plan is clearly in place to re-establish the course’s playing conditions.
Hi! Thank you so much for leaving us with your feedback. We value our customer experience, so your review is important to us. We will make note and we hope to see you back at Twelve Stones Golf Club!
A mostly positive mixed bag
Overall a solid experience. Carts are super nice, staff was too, and pace of play was good. The layout is a bit odd at times with some holes being just really oddly laid out. Not difficult necessarily but just holes with large elevation changes up, odd turns, etc. Some of the tee boxes, rough areas, and spots of fairways were in really rough shape but overall the course was in good shape. Will definitely return!
Enjoyable Course
Played this course for the first time. I reserved our tee time online and there was no problem with checking in. Unfortunately, it rained the night before and the morning before our noon tee time. But even with all the rain the course did not have any water issues on the course. Check in was smooth and the young lady working the desk was very friendly and knowledgeable.
The pace was enjoyable with no issues with those in front of us or those behind us. The fairways are mostly wide and inviting. There were a few areas under or in need of repair, but overall a course I would play again.
The greens are slow but there are planned closures to put in Bermuda grass for the new greens. The golf carts are new with GPS, governors, and very comfortable.
There was a refreshment cart on the course and we saw her twice. The clubhouse has a bar/restaurant, but they had the usual hamburgers and hotdogs prepared for those golfing. We got our food quickly and it was good.
Overall a very fun day and very enjoyable course. All four in our party would come back to this course. Definitely worth your time and dollars.
