Oak Hills Golf Course

The course layout is not what I would call ideal. I arrived three hours prior to my tee time thinking I could get off

early. I was completely wrong in that thinking process. Even though I spent the three hours on the practice green next to the clubhouse, the first tee would go vacant for 20 to 30 minutes yet they still would not allow me to go off or it was never offered. I finally got off 20 minutes earlier. 13 out of 18 holes were crowned. Meaning when they cut the new holes, they were not level. This made it close to impossible to lag a putt.

I will give my hats off approval to the grounds crew who look like worked very hard on cleaning up from the ice storm those guys deserve a raise

Saw 4 stars and we thought the price was great. The course was probably the worst course we have played! Course was not well marked. Course was in fine condition that you played most of the course in mud. Greens were not well kept and rough!

Based on my thinking 4 stars would make for a nice day of golf, fooled me and wanted to write a review (which I have never done with any bookings through golf now so that others will anticipate a pretty poor course)!

Hilly, a lot of blind shots, and greens small but course in good shape. Fairways and greens well groomed

Rock hard soil and unplayable areas litter the course. It begs the question do they even water this place at all. Greens might be the only highlight and they are 3/5 at best. If you can’t hit fairways, the course does lend a good bit of forgiveness. But overall, this place needs a major soil and turf overhaul. I will not be coming back.

Great course overall, staff was friendly, course was challenging yet enjoyable and pace of play was great. For the price you aren’t gonna find much better

The course was slightly confusing for us first timers. But overall great experience for the value. I'd definitely play again when I come back in town.

I've played Oak Hills numerous times. There have been many improvements made to the tee boxes and fairways. The greens are in great shape and have weathered the hot summer very well.

They have to do something about slow play, however. We skipped three holes on the front nine and still took 4-1/2 hours to play. That is unacceptable. Six players (a sixsome) in three carts had the entire course backed up.

I recommend playing this course on a weekday when it is less crowded. Every time I've played on the weekend recently, it has been SLOW.

This course offers a well-rounded and enjoyable playing experience, with a layout that challenges golfers of all skill levels. During my visit, the heat and lack of rainfall had impacted the greens, fairways, and tee boxes, though the overall course conditions remained respectable.

The back nine is notably demanding, featuring two strategically designed par 3s and a closing par 5 that requires both accuracy and course management. While the facility does not include a traditional driving range, it provides a functional warm-up area and an outstanding short-game practice space.

In all, this is a course well worth playing. Its thoughtful design, variety of holes, and practice amenities make it a destination I would gladly return to in the future.

This is seriously such a rarded course layout. The holes are dumb and the greens are slower than molasses. Not to mention they closed a hole and still made you pay full price. Fairways are burned out. Waste of 50 bucks

The course was in fair condition.

All areas of the course were patchy, including the greens.

Oak Hills is worth playing when conditions are much better.

The staff is one of the friendliest of any course I have ever been to.

Not too difficult to play, highly recommend.

We did get stuck behind a really slow group last time and it was kinda miserable.
