Twelve Stones Golf Club

They only allowed cart path and so over 20000 steps on watch. Had to hit near cart path, just has aerated the greens so putting difficult and generally not in great shape. The gps did not work in the cart, we were told they knew that -they were getting new carts so did not activate and course map not detailed. The golfers did not seem to follow t time so backed up. First time for negative review of course.

Greens had just been aerated but weren’t bad at all. Another couple of weeks they will be really good. The layout is challenging but fair with a nice mix of water, OB, bunkers (the sand was excellent), dog legs, and elevation changes etc…. to keep it interesting. The par 4 14th hole is a little strange since it is literally straight up a steep hill/mountain from tee to green. Fairways were dormant but didn’t seem any worse than other courses this time of year. Just hit the ball first. I look forward to playing the course again.

Got a golf now hot deal for 9:48am. Arrive early to warm up on the range. Was told there was a frost delay for an hour and half. As I sat there waiting for over an hour to tee off. I sat and watch threesomes and foursomes go ahead of me. When I asked them their tee time, they were all after 9:48. Very discouraging. I had to pretty much harass the kid at the pro shop desk. Poor kid. I couldn’t cancel my tee time because golf now does refund unless the course is closed. Worst experience there ever. Never again will I give them my hard earned cash to play.

Poeple are really trying to make this course better. Was told new greens and tee boxes are coming. Still not crazy about the low cut sandy bermuda fairways. But that's just me. I wished they'd left the big tree in the right fairway on 16 but it's gone now so I guess I can shut up about it. Still a good course and will continue to play it.

Didn't get told until I was going to the first tee that the back nine was closed for maintenanc. But at least they're working on it. But for me, it's the slanted or rounded tee boxes. For the full blown price they charge, I expect at least level tees. And the bermuda fairways...jeez. Always a tight lie. Hit it thin when it's dry; fat when it's wet. Decent shape though. They've been working hard on it so I expect good things in the future. Just an honest review coming from a guy that's been playing it for years. It used to.be HORRIBLE. New owners and management are at least trying. Tons of potential.

Played Silver tees. Par 3’s were long but fair and fun course. Had a lot of front pins when we played. Always down for some 12 Stones

Staff was rude. Price was too high. Course in mediocre condition. Slow as usual. No water on course. I don't play here anymore.

Must’ve named their Sandtrap restaurant after their teeboxes. Played here consistently for over two years, seems like little to no maintenance has been done all over.

There were several holes that had large elevation changes. I don't play many courses like this, so it was a welcome change. I had to compensate for the elevation when selecting clubs which made it more difficult, but made it more fun. The views from the top of the hills were very impressive and we had a beautiful day to enjoy it.

Enjoyed my round, the course is challenging and fun, golf cart with gps with is very helpful.
