Twelve Stones Golf Club

Twelve Stones is diffently improving, green fairways and very good greens that roll well, not to fast. Course is still stuff to play, just have to know when to lay up. Lost a few balls but my fault, Looking forward to playing again.

Played this course first time during a scramble, liked course and decided to take my foursome for a game. Course was busy but started on time with good pace of play which is important. Great course layout and views were amazing will go back.

Played in mid April, I’m from up North and thought it would be greener.

Fairways- 2 out of 10. Crab grass fairways

Bunkers 2 out of 10

Greens 9-10… excellent.

The course is so hilly so it’s very hard to get a good lie…

Pretty challenging course with the slope but definitely a great place to play. Greens were fast and in good condition. Excited to play again when all the grass is not dormant.

Course was in great shape for early spring. The carts run well, the greens were surprisingly quick, and the staff was friendly. My only complaint is the range was mats only, but again, early spring. Coming from south Florida, it was nice to play a course with some elevation change. I will definitely be back!

Played this in the winter months and it honestly was in pretty good shape. I was a single paired up with a 3 some that were fun to play with but pace of play was slow even for that time of year and we were very backed up.

Layout and design of the course were decent but nothing special along with the course conditions. I would probably play again but it definitely wouldn’t be my first choice in the area.

To many forced lay ups from the white tees for me. Should have played either silver or black tees. But all in all, next time in Nashville would play again!

Played as a single. Groups let me play through in 2 1/2 hours. Course in good shape for time of year.

Drove into a few hazards that cross fairway because of unfamiliarity. But the cart GPS shows it if I had looked.

Got to play 12 stones, challenging golf course,pace of play good, grass still dormate,but course layout good,each hole is a challenge no matter what your handicap is

The first time I played this course, it was a phenomenal value. The course was in great condition. This time, in 2022, the fairways are quite a bit rougher, which I attribute to it being so early in the season. The restaurant is one of the better golf course restaurants I've been to in a long time. I especially love the fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese and bacon jam, and a very nice salad bar.

The layout of the course is very challenging, particularly for those of us much more used to flatter courses. This is a shot maker's course, not a bomb-and-gouge long hitters course.

Had I reviewed this two years ago, I'd be giving it 5 stars across the board. As it is, in current condition as of 3/29/22, 4 stars. I believe a month from now, it'll be back to 5 stars.
