Oakhaven Golf Club

This course is two courses in one, an open front nine and wooded back nine. Don't let the openness of the front nine fool you. Approaches to the greens are everything and if you're an average golfer you can still get into trouble. Holes 5-8 are especially challenging. Fairways narrow on the back side, the terrain is hillier, and woods and large trees come into play unless you hit those fairways. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

I've played this course pretty regularly since I've moved to the area. I always have a good time playing this couse. The front nine is open and has some really challenging holes. Greens are always nice and well taken care of. Back nine gets a lot harder as the fairways are narrower and the woods come into play a lot more. Only complaint I have is there are always leagues playing during the week and pace of play slows way down.

Played at Oakhaven with my son. We used to play there when he was a teenager, so seemed appropriate. Course was in good shape. Pretty wet from recent rains, but the greens were surprisingly fast.

Like that there is a range, great for that beginning of the season warm up.

Snow flurries and cold, The staff was outstanding. They really seemed appreciative that we would come out and play in the conditions.

The course did a great job of removing the leaves so we never lost a ball (well except in ponds).

The back nine is more difficult through the woods but beautiful.

Greens were aerated. Understandable that this is the time of year to get it done, but would have been nice to know in advance. Also, the front nine was wide open and we played quick. After the turn, however, for some reason there were many groups slowing play down. It seemed they let several groups on the back nine in the afternoon. It was odd.

Played on a rainy morning so the course was pretty empty but the staff was very welcoming and helpful. This course is challenging without being frustrating.... Though the leaves did cause a bit of a challenge, tis the season and all. I will be back soon.

The pace of play was very slow. We called the clubhouse to make a complaint. They said he didn't have a ranger that Saturday and he was very rude.

This course was in excellent shape. Greens were quick and true. Fairways were trim and full of grass. Rough was what it is supposed to be. Playing here is something I will certainly do again. It's just a good drive from my home in central Ohio. However, very well worth the trip. The staff was very cordial and accomodating.

The course did not manage the pace of the play well, probably due to overbooking.
The first nine was slow due to slow playing of the players ahead . There was no marshaling of the course. I gave up on the second nine after seeing a big backup on the second nine of the course .
When passing through, there was one foursome who seemed to have been blocking/causing a lag- a marshal should have been keeping a vigilance.

Oakhaven always presents itself with some well challenging greens but always appreciate the difficulty. The course is the best I've seen in years and the staff has much improved, very helpful and friendly.

This course is close to my house. They will typically let you go out as soon as you get there, even if you have a tee time for a little later.

Played with 2 others in our foursome. I usually play quickly but these guys were slower than the growth of a tree. Love the front nine at oakhaven very challenging. Pace of play was very slow. Something that should b monitored better

Great place for a round of golf. Course was in great shape from the t box to the greens. Will be back to this course no doubt

The course was in great shape with soft, receptive greens that were still quick for putting. Challenging but not frustrating.

The majority of the staff was great. One tall gentleman was quite rude to us and the course maintenance staff did not yield to golfers

This course was challenging yet fair. The conditions were excellent, greens fast and smooth and got faster as the day went on as they dried out. I would recommend this course to anyone and that they play the proper tee box for their game.

The course was in very good shape. The pace of play was great for a Saturday afternoon. The course was moderately difficult but fairly tight on some holes which offered somewhat of a challenge. The price was great as well, overall a very good experience!

Great course . I like playing there and plan on playing more in the future.
