Bent Tree Golf Club

Love the layout! Very wet this time. The course has gone down hill. I was excited when Kemper bought the New Era courses, but they filled in bunkers, layed off the good greenskeepers, raised the rates and let the courses go to crap. I'm very optimistic and upbeat. The review isn't.

Course maintenance is out of control. Some tee areas are complete crab grass or no grass. Greens taking a beating as ball marks are many. Traps have good sand but have large weeds growing around the perimeter.

If you teeoff early be prepared to putt thru dew.

Finally, some tee off markers are confusing color and difficult to relate to scorecard.

This golf course use to be top notch. It now is the epitome of gross mis-management. The fairway grass and tees are in absolutely terrible condition with many areas just dirt. Much of the fairways where there is vegetation is now weeds. They don’t mow the greens in the morning and they stay wet until late morning. This one is the kicker, there were about 8 holes today where the white tee markers were in front of the red tee markers and numerous other holes where the tee markers were not even close to the scorecard distance. The grass on the greens was ok and the sand bunkers were racked and generally ok.

One of the most fun layouts I have played in a while. The fairways and tee boxes were pretty beat up but the greens for the most part were solid. Pace of play was good as I was the first tee time after an outing. Staff was friendly too!

The course condition has gone so far downhill over the past few years. It's not even playable on most holes.

I have played this course many times. It is currently in the worst shape of any course I have played this year. Tee boxes, fairways and even some greens have significant issues. Even the putting green has a large dead area that has gotten away from them. Not good. Too many other quality choices out there to play in these conditions.

went to bent tree for tee at 10:30 .....we were informed that we were NOT scheduled BUT...were marked as NO SHOW for 7:21 am. NOT REALLY !! I have confirmation for 10:30. Bent Tree made tee time for an hour later at another course FOR US. THANK YOU BENT TREE. Meanwhile Golf Now likely kept my full payment. I tried to contact them but they close "chat" at 5pm. I will try tomorrow.

Tee boxes were mostly dirt on 50% of holes. Fairways were burnt up. You had to roll balls over in fairway or hit off of hard dead grass. Greens were not bad but in good public course condition. Layout was great with some challenging holes and bunker play decisions. There are other local courses that are $20 cheaper in much better shape. Disappointing as it could be a nice place to play.

I have always loved the layout….haven’t been here in years…. The condition is not at all what I remember.

We expected so much more from this course given the area. The fairways & greens were burnt out & seemed to have some disease. The course layout was very confusing. I honestly don't know if we would play this course even if it was free! It really was in poor condition. The inside of the Clubhouse smelled like cat pee & about made you choke upon opening the door. We would say save your money & play somewhere else. It's definitely not worth it!!

I think on this day, there were a few slow groups, that backed up the entire course; they needed on course Rangers/Marshals to keep things moving. But the course itself and staff were very nice!

Tee times stacked up that play was so slow, plus a group of 12 in front with 5 people in a group- all dropping 2 balls.

Not great but good. Fairways a bit rough looking with dead spots and not the best grass. Greens were real good, bunkers decent shape. Good challenge and fun.

Played many times this course and enjoyed every time!!!!

Well kept and challenging.Can’t wait to play again and get shots back which left behind🏌️‍♂️

Got behind a few groups who were clearly golfing for first time ever. Other than that course played great
