About
Located at the heart of the Texas Hill Country, the Course at the Club at Rebecca Creek sprawls across gently rolling terrain dappled with mature oak trees. The golf course has had several different iterations over the years, it was formerly known as Rebecca Creek and until 2013 it was the Hawk at Rebecca Creek. There were several green and fairway improvements before it reopened under its new name. The course stretches to over 7,000 yards from the back tees and there are some tough holes but overall it's a golf course that players of all skill levels will enjoy. Trees line the fairways and there are some subtle but tricky changes in elevation. In addition to the course, there is also a driving range and practice green available.

Summer drought?
No grass except for greens. Dead grass in all other parts of the course. Dust covered everything when through. Bag. Clothes. All of everything was dust

Drought Conditions = dirt fairways

fairways are too dry
I needed a hammer to put the tee in. I couldn't see any green grass except for green. Dirt roads and dry grass meant I had to dust off my golf bag.

Scorched Earth
Saw this course a few months ago when driving by and it was green. Played the first time yesterday and I guess they’re on drought restrictions so they weren’t watering the course. The grass was all dead and the ground was hard and rocky. All that would have been ok, except they are still charging full price for a round in what might as well be a pasture. I won’t be going back.

Beautiful Hill Country Rollers
Great value for your money. With high temps routinely in the 100s and, again, this day, the unwatered fairways were hard and the ball would roll. The putting greens were watered and nicely maintained.
The course meanders in and out of majestic live oak trees with a seemingly endless series of hill country vistas. The staff are cheerful and helpful. The club house kitchen is excellent.

Worst course I have played in a while
The fairways were all completely brown and dead. Not a single green blade of grass on any fairways. If you like hitting off concrete this is the course for you. It is not expensive to play here but it is still not worth the drive or the money. The tee boxes were almost all sand with no grass. The only positive attribute of this course was the greens. Don’t waste your time.

Very Playable and in Good Shape
Rebecca Creek was in very good shape considering the heat of the Texas summer. The greens were well watered and rolled true. Some rough patches here and there in the fairways that had rocks, but take a club length drop and play on. The course sits on the limestone of the Texas Hill country and is very firm. Balls can easily roll out 50-100 yards, especially if you hit them low and hard. No water hazards and no bunkers, so hit 'em straight and you'll enjoy your round!

Great course to get some golf in
If you are looking for a highly manicured, private course - this isn’t it. If you are looking for a decent course to get out solo or with some buddies to play some golf, this course will work.
The layout is good but there are a few rough spots. Move the ball away from them and keep moving.
This course is great value for the buck, especially if you get a hot deal off Golf Now.

Hot and dry
The back 9 was closed for maintenance, so we played the front 9 twice. The drought in central Texas has made the ground very hard. You get a great rollout on the fairway, but the rollout can hurt on the dog leg when the ball rolls too far. The greens were in good shape, very consistent. The staff is very friendly.
