Located at the heart of the Texas Hill Country, the Course at the Club at Rebecca Creek sprawls across gently rolling terrain dappled with mature oak trees. The golf course has had several different iterations over the years, it was formerly known as Rebecca Creek and until 2013 it was the Hawk at Rebecca Creek. There were several green and fairway improvements before it reopened under its new name. The course stretches to over 7,000 yards from the back tees and there are some tough holes but overall it's a golf course that players of all skill levels will enjoy. Trees line the fairways and there are some subtle but tricky changes in elevation. In addition to the course, there is also a driving range and practice green available.

Fairways are solid rock!

The course itself has a horrible layout. Link style right on top of each other. Had 2 balls picked up by other golfers after drives that made it into the neighboring fairways. Watched one guy do it as I was driving up to the ball. I pulled up and he had a crying toddler in his cart. It was 100degrees outside but that's a different issue. The driving range has no net so a few of the fairways were COVERED in range balls. COVERED. The fairways were hard and dry with little grass, no need to fill a divot because id be surprised if you could with a pick axe. The tee boxes were uneven and mostly made up of sand. I'm not an experienced golfer by any means but have been to many courses in the greater San Antonio area and this was by far the worst designed and kept course I've been to.

Great place to play

Fairways are pretty rough , but greens were in great shape . Holes 1,10,11 are awkward , but it’s a great value and fun to play .

Great greens....but....

The greens were in amazing shape. The rest of the course is in dire need of water. Hard to tell the difference between the fairways and the roughs. Lots of deadpan and exposed rocks. Your ball roles forever due to lack of vegetation, ie grass.

The course desperately needs some rain but there are numerous areas that need repairs and TLC.

All that said, I will play it again.

Friendly place .

Course has hardly any water which results in a hard pan throughout all fairways . Greens are ok . Staff super friendly . Play super fast . Players great to hang out with

Rebecca Creek

The course is very dry and not much grass anywhere but greens. In their defense, it has been really dry. This make it hard to get the club under the ball. You have to play the ball down which makes it difficult because the ball will not stop on the greens.

Windy weather

February in Texas

As those of us Texas know, if you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes and it'll change. The wind picked up after just a few holes and made club selection difficult. The greens got faster making it better to play a bump-and-run shot.

Only problem I had was a single playing ahead of me taking a long time in choosing a club; around the greens he would take his wedge hit the ball then walk all the way back to the cart to get his putter. Made the pace of play slow and very frustrating.
