About
Royal American Links Golf Club pays homage to the birthplace of golf, the seaside links of Scotland, an inspiration that is also reflected in the architecture of the clubhouse. The 18-hole course was created in the traditional link-style but with added features not typical of the classic design including water coming into play on nearly every hole. There are also large, deep bunkers protect the sloping greens, many of which are double-tiered. Royal American Links Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3 12th. Its green is guarded by a not only a large rock wall but also water to the front and left. There is a large bunker to the left of the green that will swallow any errant shots but players with a sharp short game will be able to manage.

Not again
Traps were a joke, little sand a lot of weeds. Greens , ask players to fix their ball marks! Greens needed cut, fairways we ok rough was decent.

Bunkers are not really playable
The bunkers barely have any sand in them and are in poor shape. They have been this way for a few years now. Not sure why they don't add some sand to them. Also the tee boxes were in pretty rough shape. This course is definitely going down hill.

Decent golf, a little expensive
Fairways and greens in good shape. Lots of tee boxes on the front were not as they were lacking grass and lumpy. Layout is pretty wide open.

Great Course.
To be fair the cart path was a bit confusing but I wasn’t paying attention to the painted numbers. Other than that just a few spots on some greens that people left divots and didn’t fix.

Beautiful greens. Fairway was nicely trimmed when I played. Fun layout. This is a course that you will likely use most of the clubs in your bag and not just Driver / 7 / PW. I’ll be back fo sho.

Good course - need better hole directions
I’ve always liked the course and will continue to go there. My only issue is with the cart path directions where the front and back meet. One of the signs is missing and the numbers painted on the asphalt path are warn down, so not easy to read if your not paying attention. I’ve played the course about 6 times in the last 3 years, so I’m used to it now. For a new player who is not used to the course or markings it is very easy to get out of sync.

Need more help
Layout greens and fairways all good. Staff is good but looks like they need some help. Tees looked like that hadn’t been moved in a week or two and nothing had been filled. Bunkers were in bad shape and didn’t look like they had been dragged or dressed in a while.
Good layout and really like the course but need to get tees in better shape and fill some divots. Not just par 3’s. All the tees need help.
