Super fun and forgiving course with nice elevation, really good for beginners and intermediate players.
Great Value
Course was in great shape. Greens rolled true and F-15 fighter jets flying overhead was a bonus.
Slow, fun round
Sun Hills GC has become a regular stop each summer for a few rounds because of its layout and diversity in holes; it provides challenges with opportunities to win or lose; this course will definitely remain in our schedule each year.
Best kept secret
We love Sun Hills golf course. The layout is well executed and poses a challenge for all levels of play. Tee times are fairly easy to obtain and the staff is very accommodating. The course pro, Mike, runs a tight ship and everything is designed for excellence. The teaching pro, Stacy, is extremely accommodating and can provide very professional game assistance. Very pleased to call this my home course.
Group of 6!!!!!
They sent a group of 6 players out in front of us on the back 9. I called the club house and they basically lied about the situation. I will never play a course that sends out groups of 6 players. I just don't know what they are doing at Sun Hills Golf Course.
Fun course
Hilly course, some cool elevated tee boxes, great views of the valley and the occasional fighter jets performing maneuvers overhead was a welcome distraction
Fun Casual Play
Love this course. Back 9 is a touch more challenging going than the front. All in all a super casual and fun golf experience every time.
Good course; 5 hour round :-(
Played there on 11/1. Course conditions were good. Greens were slick but fair. Groups in front of us were extremely slow. Not only that, they decided to split up (!). Not the first time I've played there; amateur hour happens there a lot and marshals don't seem to exist to regulate pace of play. Plan for a long day if you book here.
Great little Track.
This is a nice little Track near Hill Air Force Base. I would love to play it again. Great prices and friendly snack shack at the turn. I will definitely play again.
Great outing with friends
Sun Hills GC has become a regular course for us; we have played here several times this spring and summer despite COVID-19; the staff has always been friendly and courteous, and the course has always been in very good shape; however, the recent heat wave seemed to really affect the course in this past week with Lana dry, hard patches throughout the fairways; the greens were affected in that they were more firm than regular and weren’t very receptive to approach or chip shots; it was still a fun round that we unfortunately get caught up in slow play by the groups who were out in front of us after a local tournament ended; it is a common course where players of all levels play often.
Nice course
My wife and I both enjoyed this course for our first time. Very good instuctions as to where the next hole is. A nice balance of par 3, 4 & 5. We look forward to playing there again. Norm Zurn
Slow front nine, but fun round of golf
Sun Hills GC has become a favorite of mine and my golf buddies; we drive up from Salt Lake City a few times a year to play because it provides diverse hikes and challenges, but it is always fun; the staff is welcoming, and the course is kept is very good shape; it has become very popular to the locals, and many beginners play here which slows play; the experience is very good, and you will enjoy the challenge each hole brings with the common breeze/wind; well worth the green fee.
