Great local 9 hole course
Good overall course. There are some hazards that add to the difficulty, but overall it's a very playable course for all skill levels. Pinecrest is a good local course, and a good value.
Tough for beginners!
This was a challenge for a high-handicapper like me. Narrow fairways every now and then. A few water holes. Pretty long course as well. But it was in great condition.

Great 9 hole county course
Don't get this course confused with a country club. It isnt. It is however a great course to play for 9 holes at a reasonable price. I keep coming back. You can walk the course or rent a cart. Normally i walk but it was 99 degrees so i rented a cart. Always meet great people at the course. Staff is really nice also.

Decent little 9 hole course. The starter was extremely rude. I was walking on hole 8 and not playing slowly. The starter pulled up next to me and started yelling saying that I was an hour and a half behind pace....................on a 9 hole course. He stated that I needed to hurry up because the group in front of me was already on the 9th green but absolutely nobody was behind me. Very rude and probably not that intelligent.

Nice 9-hole course!
I needed work on my game and and get cardio in as well. This course is walkable but has carts etc. I was able to get in quality practice.

Great, little course close to home
It’s a great little 9 hole course. Sometimes it gets very crowded and the pace of play can crawl but the day I played the weather was perfect, great foursome ( we were put together by the club) and fun round.

Best Value Course in the Area
The conditions at Pinecrest are excellent for how often novice players coming for a cheap round of 9 tear it up. It’s a fun course with a good variety of holes

Pinecrest was great! The Fairways are in excellent shape. The greens were really good and ran true… Several of the holes have enough challenge to test your draw and fade. Be sure to club up on #3.
The staff are kind courteous and engaging!

A "Go-To" Course
I really like this course, as a "go-to" location. If you don't have time to play a par 72, this is a good "executive" course to play a nicely paced 9 holes, that won't take up your whole morning or afternoon.
I've played Paint Branch in College Park and Henson Creek in Fort Washington, and I like the layout of this course the best. It is also important to note that the course is in good condition, well-maintained and managed, since many municipal and county managed courses are not.
I only wish the course had a proper driving range?!?
