Slooow Greens
First time playing here. Teed off at 0650 so there was def plenty of dew on the greens. That combined with the greens being perhaps a little long (grass height) meant the greens were really slow. We had to hammer putts to get them to the hole. Better putters than me will be able to adjust. Players need to do better at fixing their ballmarks (as usual and not the course's fault). Fairways were wide and firm, and rough wasn't too penal. I will keep this course in the rotation to play again soon.
Great value
This is a good priced golf course that provides an enjoyable round. It is very good condition, possibly the best I have seen in the last 10 years. Staff is friendly. Layout is fair but can be challenging on some holes. Pace of play is average - what should be expected for a weekend round. Overall a great value.
Great Public Course
Hard to beat the value of play at this course. Certainly gives off a public course vibe when you pull in but the price of 18 holes is a fraction of other private clubs in the area. Course surprised us given how well it was maintained. Good layout with fun holes throughout. Pace of play was fine as well. Will definitely be back to play again soon given the experience.
About face
Over the last 3 years I had dismissed this course as one of my least favorite. It wasn't until a friend of mine urged me to give it another try. After the first three holes I was surprised at how well the course and greens looked. Fifteen holes later I felt I had played on a completely different venue. Kudos to the new grounds keeper and staff. You have won me over! Greg Sakes
Older male employee was rude
Course was in shape, price was decent but, the older gentleman on the register was unnecessarily rude. Tried to walk through the clubhouse with my bag on my shoulder to drop on to the other side, Outdoors. my mistake, i didnt know, but the guy scolded me as I got half way through the clubhouse (which is maybe 30 feet wide) and pointed at me to go back outside. I asked if I could just take it to the other side, where the course starts and drop them off. He proceeded to aggressively cut me off and pointed at the door for me to go back out the same way and drop my clubs off first. Almost like he was talking to a child...I'm a 35 year old man. If you want avid golfers to come back again, try not speaking to your customers this way....
Big improvement
Hige improvement in course comditions. Probably the best ive seen it. The rough is in great shape and has been groomed. Greens excellent. Heavy rain previous days so some greens were a little slow but overall great. Pace of play was good even though it was crowded. 18 holes in 4hr 25min. Props to the staff. I just wish there was a range lol. There is a net bwfore hole 1 though.
Looking good
This place is a huge improvement. For the price in the area. You will not have a better deal.
Great condition
This is a muni that sees a lot of rounds but they have got it in the best shape I have seen. Staff is friendly. Good value for the price.
This course has improved dramatically.
I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the overall course conditions. Tees, fairways and greens were very good. Greens ran true but a little too slow. After reading reviews from the past couple of years (until recently), I was afraid of what the conditions would be like. Bravo to the management and grounds/maintenance personnel. Folks in the clubhouse, and starter, were all friendly and helpful. Pace was a little slow, but we had a beginner in our foursome as well so no real complaint. I had a great time and will return!
Course layout
The course layout does pose a possible threat of hitting golfers on adjacent fairways if shots are miss- hit. This is a bit more than any other course I've played.
May 11, 2022 (first 11 holes only)
Fairways were recently mowed. Overall the course looks better than I’ve seen in a long time. Beautiful view of the course from clubhouse - can see the contours of the fairway and rough. Unfortunately the greens still need a lot of work but I’m sure that will come in time. They put new sand in most of the bunkers. Some still pending. Woman who was working at club house was extremely nice and courteous.
