Well maintained but odd layout
Typical executive course. They don’t have the real estate so some of the holes are really odd. Well maintained and friendly staff but I honestly don’t know how to play some of the holes unless you can shape the ball like bubba Watson. Worth the price but bring a few extra balls because you will lose some.

Great Value and Practice Course
This course offers great value and lets you hit all the shots. Greens were in good shape. Pace was great and will play again.

Horrible staff
Had 15min until our tee time, were yelled at by the starter to get to the box while still warming up. Then he literally yelled at an old man to move faster to the tee box saying “what about golf do you not understand”. Without a doubt the most unfriendly staff I have ever encountered at a golf course.

Slow Pace of Play and Aeration
Played with three other players on a Tuesday (8/1/23). Weekdays normally result in good pace of play. Our 9 hole round took 2 hours and 45 minutes which in my experience is out of the ordinary for Pinecrest. It started with a bottleneck on hole #2. Also had to wait on #4, #5, #6 and #8. I realize aeration is necessary but it was done on a number of holes (#1, #2, #3, #4, #6, etc.) right in front of the greens which prevented approach shots shy of the green from bouncing and/or rolling up onto the green. It cost us all a number of strokes. Had I known the condition prior I'd have played a different course until the aeration healed. That's on me for not inquiring about course condition beforehand. Regardless, we all had a good time and still enjoyed our round on a nice day!
