First impressions
The range mats are high quality and the targets are great. The course layout is enjoyable, especially the front nine. It was a windy day with gusts up to 25 mph so proper club choice and shot shape was key. The greens were running true at about 9 on a stimpmeter. A very walkable course. The course had 4 water stations with four coolers at each to keep us hydrated throughout the round. This might be my new favorite local course around the area.
Good course slow play
The course is quite good, but pace of play was too slow at the end. I had to skip the last three holes to avoid spending 1.5-2 hours to play them.
Recommend Playing
I had an incredible round at Brambleton and was thoroughly impressed by every aspect of the experience. From the warm welcome at the clubhouse to the impeccable course conditions, everything was perfect. The greens were fast and challenging, and each hole was distinct and meticulously maintained, offering challenge.
The facilities were excellent with a halfway house offered a great selection of refreshments.
One wish I have is for membership opportunities; the course is in such great shape that I would love to make it my home course. I highly recommend Brambleton to anyone looking for top-tier golfing at a great price per round.
Good condition
This course is in very good condition for early season, Algonkian could learn a lot from this place.
Pace of play was slow and it did not appear like player assistance was having any visibility.
Pleasantly surprised
Since I last played here a few years ago it seems to have really become beautiful! It’s challenging but not brutal. I can’t wait to return.
