Overpriced, Overpriced, Overpricxed. I had a rain check from August 2025 and to play it cost me another 17. $80

To play 9 holes during the week.

Will not be playing there for those kind of prices. Conditions were ok, not great . Have played the course for 27,years, never thought it would be that $$$.

The course could be a gem in the northern Virginia area. The layout is good, there are hazards like water and bunkers, that come into play on most holes.

The problems: Tee boxes are shoddy on a number of holes. Patchy with dirt and grass clumps on some, others are just noticeably uneven and you can't find a flat spot on some. No water on the course to fill up, it was a Tuesday so no cart girl (expected). It was windy and no way to fill up your water bottle. No ball cleaners either. Greens should be faster even for this time of year.

it's a great layout...the course will challenge you with shot making, allow you to go big with the driver, has several very pretty holes

however, it might be worth it with a $70 hot deal from GolfNow, but @ OVER $130 on the weekends during peak time it's ridiculous and overpriced by about $6-70 due to the crabgrass on the tees, fairways, & rough, patchy grass all over, and peak time pace of play

it's too bad, because it's a great layout

I like this course. I score around 100-110. The Associate membership is a great value. The course is in good condition.

Enjoyed playing this course for the first time where it had different challenges which always makes it better to see if you can cross over the water or hit up to an elevated level. It was nice to have a few Par 3s and Par 5s. Very Nice Overall!

Our experience at Pleasant Valley today was solid! The plus of the day was definitely the Marshall who smoothly managed pace of play and we got 18 played in exactly 4 hrs! A seeming rarity in NOVA. The course itself was soaked from the recent rains but still played alright and the overall conditions seemed well taken care of! Only downside of the day is the practice range was closed for being too wet.

The course conditions and amenities were not worth the $130 green fee. Much better courses out there for half the price.

There is no reason why a five-some of beginners should be sent off the 10th tee at 12:45pm in front of four groups making the turn, as happened today. The 10th hole took 30 minutes, which is a NINE hour round pace. On a good day, play at this course is extremely slow, this pace in perfect weather is not OK.

I know it's been a bad year for courses and nothing will change but for the amount this course is charging is not worth playing it in the conditions it is in. Should be no more than 70 bucks

Most of the reviews are fairly accurate. It’s not a goat track but it’s certainly not worth anything more than 80 or $90 during the weekend. Definitely there was a lot of rough spots on the course but they were but they were plenty of good spots too

It is a decent layout, a little bit on the short side It’s worth playing if you can get a discount but anything north of $90 try to find something nicer.

Beautiful and interesting course layout, though the conditions were... Interesting. Nice to have a grass driving range. Considering the aeration and conditions, might have hoped for a better price.

I played this course twice in March this year and it was in good condition. I played recently and it was in terrible shape (again)! It is NOT a $130 course at all! It's a rip-off! I get that it has been unusually hot this summer, but management could have done a better job in maintaining the course for the price they are charging. I like this course, but I won't be coming back for a while and certainly won't be recommending friends to play it.
