About
The Legends of Massillon offers 27 holes of championship golf. The holes are divided into three nines: East, North, and South; which can be played in different 18-hole combinations. Originally opened in 1995 as an 18-hole golf course, another nine was added with each of the three nines featuring six of the original holes and three new ones. The East/North combination has large greens and plenty of water. Water is a prominent feature on every nine, it comes into play on 22 out of the 27 holes and you'll also have more than 80 strategically placed bunkers throughout to contend with. There are four sets of tees on every nine, making it accessible for a wide range of skill levels. The Legends consistently ranks as one of the top public golf courses in Ohio.

Overbooked as usual
Everything about this course is nice for the price but they overbook tee times and the starter just sends out people whenever they please. Today our round went 5 1/2 hours to no fault of our own. We were stuck behind 3-4 groups all day. I’ve played this course many times and it’s always backed up. Only reason I still come here are the low prices when every other course is booked.

Slowest round ever and no Rangers
5-1/2 HR round is the reason why so many people are getting away from the game. Lack of rangering or not enough spacing between tee times??? Either way not acceptable!

Nice Course
Front 9 play was slow. There was a 3 some walking that was extremely slow, luckily they quit after nine. Course was in good condition, although heavy rain the night before made for some soggy areas on the course

Great course.
This course is one of the few that offers a dedicated putting green as well as a driving range and chipping green. The links-like layout is nice with little tree coverage and very wide fairways. You'll be challenged on some long par 4s and par 3s with some elevation change and hazards.
Overall, this course is great for Stark County and the Northeast Ohio Golf landscape.

Over booked..
Got to the course an hour early to warm up..
Couldn't get a cart till after my tee time..
Got to the first tee to find 8 carts waiting in line to hit...we played one hole and left...2 1/2 hours..
Not fun

We actually had a 1.5 hour frost delay the day of your tee time, so that was the delay and not being overbooked. We do our best to get everyone out as quickly as possible once the frost is lifted, but it does take time. We appreciate your feedback and hope you'll give us another try in the future.

Good value
Great to be playing in 70 degrees in November. Course was in frat shape. Greens were good for this time of year

Played the South and East 9s today. Love the layouts of these 9s. The conditions at this course have been great all year. The staff is friendly, the starter is efficient. Have played there more this year than ever and always enjoy it.

We do space our tee times every 8 minutes to help with this, but we are a busy course. We will try to keep the pace of play moving by having a ranger out on the weekends.
