About
The Legends of Massillon offers 27 holes of championship golf. The holes are divided into three nines: East, North, and South; which can be played in different 18-hole combinations. Originally opened in 1995 as an 18-hole golf course, another nine was added with each of the three nines featuring six of the original holes and three new ones. The East/North combination has large greens and plenty of water. Water is a prominent feature on every nine, it comes into play on 22 out of the 27 holes and you'll also have more than 80 strategically placed bunkers throughout to contend with. There are four sets of tees on every nine, making it accessible for a wide range of skill levels. The Legends consistently ranks as one of the top public golf courses in Ohio.

Speed of play
Speed of play was real slow. For a play that has three nines you would think the speed of play wouldn’t be an issue. But it was pretty slow on Monday.

This course is always in good shape, but spring golf there is spectacular. And, price is fantastic with or without a hot deal.

Nice course
Course was in good shape, and good value for the money. Pace of play terrible on front nine, due to a foursome of inconsiderate (or unaware) older men who seemed oblivious that myself as a single, and after about the 4th hole a double when joined by another golfer trying to play at a reasonable pace.
Got around them on 10th hole, played that nine in 1 hr 15 minutes, as opposed to 3 hrs on first nine.
Probably would help if rangers were riding around the course to monitor slow play and speed up guys like that.

Like the course but.......
Needs to have better spacing between groups! Our round was six hours and we waited on every tee box with two groups backed up on ome!
The cart paths are dangerous!

Great layout
