About
The Legends of Massillon offers 27 holes of championship golf. The holes are divided into three nines: East, North, and South; which can be played in different 18-hole combinations. Originally opened in 1995 as an 18-hole golf course, another nine was added with each of the three nines featuring six of the original holes and three new ones. The East/North combination has large greens and plenty of water. Water is a prominent feature on every nine, it comes into play on 22 out of the 27 holes and you'll also have more than 80 strategically placed bunkers throughout to contend with. There are four sets of tees on every nine, making it accessible for a wide range of skill levels. The Legends consistently ranks as one of the top public golf courses in Ohio.

Nice course, North is the newer nine. I wish we would have played the South and East vs. the East and North. But the course is in great shape and was fun to play.

This is a very nice course and I play it every year when I visit from Florida but this makes 3 or 4 years in a row that it took 5 hours to play a round on the weekend. I recommend it if you can play it during the week.

Nice course/great value
Had an enjoyable round. Pace of play was good...around 4 hours for 18 holes. Greens were in great shape and really nice to putt on. Very true and held the line with proper speed.

Good course and good price for a holiday.
Played behind a bad 3-some playing from the tips. So, we waited on on every hole and nary a ranger to be seen.

You gotta play here - worth the drive from Cleveland

Absolutely terrible management
This golf course was absolutely horrible, the head management sent 20 people all to the north side when the south side was completely open. Horrible place to play I wouldn’t suggest to anyone!
Thank you for your review! We apologize that you didn't enjoy your time with us and that the pace of play was slow. The rotation for the day was North/ South, South to East. We had people turning to the South so it was not open. We try to pair twosomes together to keep the pace of play moving. Unfortunately, some twosomes didn’t want to play with each other which really backed things up since they were behind foursomes. We appreciate your feedback and hope you'll give us another try in the future!

Needs work done
Bunkers were half full of water and most lacked sand (only mud & dirt). Sprinkler head area had been trimmed with the waste sod left laying on the fairways. Staff were all very nice and pleasant. Course appears to be maintained as a city park instead of a golf course. I am willing to give it another chance in another month or so.

A solid course for the money. 3 nines, and all a bit different. Not a country club by any means and gets lots of play but for a muni course, believe they do a nice job and would recommend.
