About
The Legends of Massillon offers 27 holes of championship golf. The holes are divided into three nines: East, North, and South; which can be played in different 18-hole combinations. Originally opened in 1995 as an 18-hole golf course, another nine was added with each of the three nines featuring six of the original holes and three new ones. The East/North combination has large greens and plenty of water. Water is a prominent feature on every nine, it comes into play on 22 out of the 27 holes and you'll also have more than 80 strategically placed bunkers throughout to contend with. There are four sets of tees on every nine, making it accessible for a wide range of skill levels. The Legends consistently ranks as one of the top public golf courses in Ohio.

Great course
I played there about a month ago and the course was in great shape considering it was early March. The layout is great and they take good care of the grounds.

March 5th golf
Great that the course was open! Turned out to be a beautiful day! Fair price and good pace of play. Just wanted to get out and on the course to start the 2022 season off. Course will be great later in a few months once the greens recover and the course dries out.

Greens aerated
The greens were aerated and not mowed.
That is not a knock on the course, just reporting conditions. In general this is a quality track.

Excellent course
Great atmosphere. Got a discount, was solo player that got partnered up with 3 other people. But for the price, beautiful course.

Fun course
Fun course to play and easy to score on. Plenty of water and sand (dirt) traps, fairways are kept in good shape and there are 3 different 9s. Along with 27 holes, there are adequate practice areas like a chipping green, a putting green and a driving range. I will say that it took us almost 5 hours to get through 18, so plan for that or utilize the beverage cart like we did. Also will mention that when Golf Now says you are playing two specific 9s, such as North/South, don’t expect to play those two courses. I paid for North/South (North is my favorite 9), but we had to play the South and East.
Overall, one of the nicer public courses in the area.

Beautiful day and a very nice courde
Played the East and South courses. Only negative was that East greens had recently been had been poked and sanded. Otherwise, conditions were excellent.
