Fun Course
Some of the holes are a bit difficult for beginners but other ones are not bad. The course was nice and there were several cold water stations along the path. The only issue was that the geese are everywhere and they are FEARLESS.

Very nice 9 holes course
A 9 holes course with par 3, 4 and 5. All not too long but well laid out and a pleasure to play.
If you have less time to play definitely worth it.

The course is very accessible, nice for beginners or low competence players.
The only disturbing factor is the large amount of geese droppings on the fairways.

Nice county 9 hole course
The costs are reasonable and the layout is good. There is not much travel between holes. Cart fees are a bit much at $13 per person.

Such a Fun Little Course! Beginner/Intermediate Friendly.
Awesome course for anyone wanting to learn or intermediate players enhancing skills. Course was in great conditions and the greens were particularly challenging and well kept. Fairways were in great conditions and pretty generous spatially. If you’re an advanced golfer and looking to bomb some greens from the tees you can do that here as well. Staff was great and helpful. Best course I’ve visited in VA so far. Will be back soon.

An excellent course to improve your game
I recently played a round of golf at Jefferson District Golf Course, and I have to say that I was thoroughly impressed with the course. The layout was fair, with a good mix of holes that required different shots and strategies. The greens were in excellent condition, with true roll and consistent speeds throughout the course.
Another highlight of the course was the scenery. The course winds through some beautiful natural areas, with mature trees and water features that add to the challenge and beauty of the holes. The staff at the course was also friendly and helpful, making for an enjoyable overall experience.
If I could change one feature, that would be the pace at which the golf groups are released. After three visits, the sequencing of golf groups has been more condensed than most would like. An additional minute or two between groups would be useful.
