Awesome day with my son and friends Photo submitted by VnI5ZgBDE5gUxHopU8As on 04/15/2021
Nice track, angry golfer
I truly enjoy Bunker Hill it is always in great condition and the improvements to the cart paths only enhances the course. Unfortunately my problem was not course related. I played with a three some and they were a lot of fun. When we made the turn, our cart was blocked by a golfer waiting to go off on #1. We asked him to please move his cart, he ignored our first two requests. During our third request he responded by telling us we could back out if we needed to move. The starter came over asked the golfer to please move his cart and he refused. The starter walked away. We jockeyed our cart back and forth until we were able to move. I understand we are all dealing with something during these trying times, but the starter walking away only perpetrated the problem, and reinforced the hateful behavior. Don’t bring your hate to the golf course, most of us are there to enjoy ourselves. Still enjoyed the course, I probably will return when things calm down.
Tough course, but fun to play!
Course is always in great shape. Played at 3pm after a golf outing and the course was in really good shape. Tough course. Don't think twice about it, play this course!
Excellent conditions and a true bang for your buck
I have golfed here more than 100 times as it played as my home course in high school. It is by far the nicest public course I have played in the Cleveland area. Mid July and the fairways are lush and green, like hitting off carpet. For $20 early bird special, you can’t beat it!!
Bunker Hill is Fun Layout
Course is great for us Senior players, with not much rollouts in fairways or short of greens, it plays longer than scorecard distance. Many greens a tilted severly back2front (especially #9&18). Big hitters can eat this place up, but fun for this 60+ player. Thanx to GN for the Hot Deals & I'll be back again this season.
Bunker Hill is Fun Layout
This day CPO due to extra wet/soft fairways resulted in a slower (than normal) round, but The Bunker has a lot of green grass. Greens, tees, fairways all in good shape, just need to dry a bit. Course played longer due to soft grounds, and pin positions today were wicked, some on slants & some in corners barely on the putting surface. Two putts on a few greens (particularly #18) was demanding. Staff, particularly Starter-gal, was nice, and helpful with directions of reroute between 7&8. New owners are investing (huge$$) in new cement cart paths, and that construction will be ongoing for at least August. Thanx to GolfNow for the HotDeals, and I will be back to redeem my horrible play on this beautiful morning.
Overall Good
My only gripe is whenever I try to play courses by myself they want to try and pair me with 3 other people. If I want to play with a foursome I would’ve called three friends. This annoys me anytime it happens but I feel like grouping 3 singles together during a pandemic is not the best idea.
Good course - very slow
Course was in good shape and staff was friendly - very slow pace. 20 -25 min a hole
Course is very reliable
I've played Bunker Hill 5-10 times over the last decade. The course is always in very good shape an today was no different. Got off at our tee time at 915 am finished around 1:45.
Would recommend.
Great Hot Deal Value
Second time playing course this year and it’s in great shape. Only complaint was pace of play on a Monday. Tee’d off at 11:40 and didn’t finish until 4:30 but hey I had nowhere to be. Great value for 18 w/cart for $23 thanks to Hot Deal and promo code
Suprise
Have played Bunker Hill a lot over the past couple of years. My wife, who doesn't play, loves to ride along she finds the course to be very pretty. I showed up for my round and informed the pro shop attendant that she would be riding with me, as I always do. I played alone. guy tells me its $14 for her "participant" fee. Have played there before, and have either been told "fine" and she rides along (no charge), or have paid a small fee like $3 or $4. Funny, we (I) finished about 645 pm. Nice couple getting ready to start. Same situation. They paid zero. I won't be back
Played the course before in the past and it has always been in pretty good shape and that was no different this time...our only complaint was that we were told, as soon as we went to pay, that tree times were already running 40minutes to an hour behind due to their booking system not working properly (since spring apparently). Our tee time was before 9 so this was not the way we wanted to start our round...and we had a single golfer playing with our group and when my friend said he’d rather ride in a cart alone due to the pandemic circumstances, the ranger told them both they’d need to pay an extra $10 per cart, which we thought was pretty ridiculous considering the circumstances...
Other than that we had a good time but we will be a little hesitant to book here again, for the time being, due to the booking issues they’ve apparently had since early in the season...
Bunker Hill with son
Challenging yet fun course to play with my son!
We try to play 9 twice a week!
