Decent course bad management
Signed up for an early t-time as a solo. Showed on time to play but they didn’t let me out due to a “shortage of carts”. Had to join a group to share a cart. Nobody in front of us. Asked if I could take a cart at the turn and play ahead and again they said they still had a shortage (although they had 18 sitting there. When we finished there were at least 13 carts still sitting there. Stubborn and unreasonable. Decent course otherwise but put a big damper on the round.
Avoid at all costs
40 mins early to tee time, no carts available-they’re “still charging” at 2pm on a Friday.
7 mins to tee time, tell ranger and gentleman who checked me in. They both tell me it’ll be fine and it’s almost ready.
2 mins past tee time, still no cart.
5 mins past, get a cart and then told to rush and hurry the gentlemen teeing off.
While driving to tee, ranger screams at me to hurry up. There’s two carts in the fairway about 150-175 out.
Pace was miserable, I left early as three groups were stacking on tee boxes due to pace ahead. Greens have massive dead spots. From start to finish the entire experience was tremendously awful.
1st time at Copper Top
A friend told me about how much he loved playing Copper Top. So I booked a tee time for my friend and I. The views of the course I beautiful although the tee boxes were a bit beat up from prior golfers not replacing divots. I thoroughly enjoyed the course! My only complaint was on hole 5 or 6 I could not find the red tee box, otherwise I will totally plan another tee time at this course.
Etiquette is dying
Again- another good golf course with troubling pace of play etiquette. I was solo and played the ENTIRE ROUND waiting behind TWO 2somes. I was on the tee boxes WITH them multiple times- was even being pushed by a 4some behind me. Just so frustrating that so many public course golfers just refuse to allow faster players (let alone solo golfers) through.
Coppertop
Great course. Very nice layout that is tough but fair for all levels of golfers.
Good course
Always like playing here. Very wet conditions, but not their fault. Redesign of number six was not good and should try to create part fives on each nine. Felt cheated with par 70?
Course is in very good condition. Challenging course with a lot of water, not so much sand. Best enjoyed if you can hit your ball straight. Only complaint is the pricing for 9 holes vs. 18. Should be more fair if you only want to play 9.
Slow
Even though the course was not wet it was cart path only, this course always plays slow as it is but was extremely slow because of cart path only. Took a little over 5 hours to play 18 holes
