Love bowling green
Always love playing at bowling green! Courses are always in good shape and very friendly staff!
No water hazards
Nice layout and friendly staff. Golf carts with advanced GPS was kind of cool with onboard USB charging to keep juice in your phone. The sand traps could use some real sand without all the small rocks. The price was right. I would definitely play it again.
Always a favorite!
The carts with the GPS and club/ball wash well appreciated. Staff always welcoming and friendly. The curse is always in decent condition. Very much enjoy playing here. Nice wide fairways are good for this hacker as I don't usually lose more than a ball or 2!
nice course
Nice course in good condition. Greens were in very good shape. Tee boxes were a little rough but ok. Pace was slow but only because the other players I was paired with were slow. Very enjoyable course.
Great Day
Definitely money value for this coarse is what’s it’s about
Down fall play pace was slow cuz having 4some and 2some playing faster would not let us around them.
Mike’s
What handicapped and would have problems walking course. Cart path only, most holes were damp, didn’t see any mud or standing water. Could only play 9
Nice outing for Friday golf.
It was my first time out this season. Great weather and good company. Play was slow due to groups ahead of us. Greens and tee boxes could use some TLC. The staff was friendly as always. Can't beat the rate! I will always find a way to get to BGCC South and North courses once or twice of year.
Poor aeration.
Whoever performed the air aeration of the greens on the golf course did an exceptionally poor job. I have played on many aerated greens over the years, but none as poorly done as the ones at your course on August 31st.
Like a day at the ocean
I've played here for years but Sunday wasn't one of the best times the greens were white from the sand where they felled the holes just like putting on the beach all that was missing was trying too dodge the tide pace of play was very slow followed two men and two women for 4.5 hours they wouldn't let us play through and their was only 2 of us I'll go back it's just going to be a month or 2
Rough. Very rough!
Course is in dire need for attention. Greens were scratched and covered in sand. No wonder it was so cheap to play. Fairways and rough are barely distinguishable. Maybe next year things will be better.
Fantastic course, amazing staff!
The staff at Bowling Green are always so courteous and helpful, makes it a real pleasure to visit and play golf there.
Very Disappointing
Pace of play was terrible - 3 hours for front 9, so we called it quits after that. Course was not in great condition and many holes were cart path only. GPS in cart stops you from going on certain parts of the course which is great in theory but the lack of cart path makes it very confusing and annoying where to go for first timers, especially with no other on course signage. Went with a new course because rates were decent and hoped it wouldn’t be too crowded out in Front Royal but definitely disappointing all around. Would not recommend and won’t be returning.
