Course maintenance is horrible
We were losing balls in the fairway because the grass hadn't been cut in days--probably a week. First cut was so ling it was folded over. Had the same issue there before. Its a local course so i gave them another try. This course seems to only cut the grass 1x a week--Friday's after 0900am. We won't be playing there anymore.
Get what you pay for...
I've been spoiled by living 10 minutes from a state park golf course. That said, I shouldn't have to pay $50/round to expect ball cleaners on every hole and golf carts that have been cleaned within the preceding 24 hours (let alone the preceding week/month). The course is a nice balance of difficulty, and small enough that the setup doesn't have you crossing paths with players on the opposite nine very often.
Good golf fix
Uniquely laid out. Nine hole course. You play from different tee boxes on the back 9. Slow greens but the course does offer you to play all clubs in your bag.
Home Builders Alert
If you are a local home builder and looking to purchase land to build on, this is the perfect spot .This property is close to the highway, near shopping and a pretty area but not good for a golf course.. This was a very sad looking course and should be closed. I was so happy to finish 9 holes and get out rather than playing the back 9 holes. Please real estate developer, build homes here or a warehouse.
Usally a good course
I've played this course a few weeks ago and it was great. Took a buddy back to play and it was awful. The grass hadn't been cut in days, hard to tell the fairway from the rough both were so long. Also, the garbage cans were overflowing. The course is in need of some TLC. Its a great course and i hope they get back to maintaining it. Last month I rated this course a 5.
Great Shape
Course is in excellent shape. Greens and Fairways very good condition. Staff was informative and friendly. Will be playing here again and would recommend anyone thinking of playing here
Great course for the value!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ FRGC is always fun to play. Ryan in the clubhouse provides awesome customer service. It’s a very good course - the holes by the river always provide a nice view.
