The Titus Course at Shenandoah Valley Golf Club

The course was in bad shape, especially the greens. They have been aerated but done poorly, no sanding to fill in the holes, to make it as smooth as possible. So they bounce all over the place, which is to be expected but not to this extent. Very slow pace to all of them. And speaking of pace ... it was brutally slow. With no course marshall policing any of it. There would be two 4-somes out, then a single, then a 2-some, then another single ... with NONE of them paired up together. This slowed down pace on the entire course. I will never get a mid-morning tee time again.

Course was in good shape except greens. Could not really tell if it was the aeration or some other issue with the greens. Hope it was the aeration!!

Many fairways were not cut, Tee boxes had no grass and had swarmes of bees all around us. The greens were good and fast. Great course for using your three wood and eight iron.

Conditions not good...slow play with no ranger to help. Lots of weeds instead of grass...and priced too high.

All i can say is play this course...if you find a reason not to like this course...then perhaps tennis is a better sport for your time. Great conditions, great people, great prices and a fine place to enjoy a drink and meal afterwards.

Course is in great shape and nicely landscaped. The staff is always very friendly. My only complaint is that the red tees are not advanced much on several holes, especially on the back 9 (13, 14 and 15) so it is difficult to reach the fairway from the tee box. Otherwise the layout is very nice and we always enjoy playing here.

I play this course at least four times a year for the last three years and have not been disappointed.

The course conditions are great and the price very reasonable.

The course layout is pretty straight fairways but the tree's and lateral hazards bring the challenge.

I do recommend this course.

Great price, course was in great shape for this time of the year, weather was windy and cart path only on three holes,needs to have the cart paths finished, muddy and slick

Did not get to play as course was backed up over two hours and pace of play was at a snails pace. Had a morning tee time, but wouldn’t have finished before dark. Had to forfeit $$ as scheduled tee time had already passed. Not the courses fault, but a weather allowance should have been made.

This year has had it's challenges weather-wise for most of the courses in our area - The staff here are doing their absolute best to keep the course in playable condition and deserve many thanks for that! A few soggy spots, but overall in good condition. Pace of play was good as usual, looking forward to next time already...

front nine was flooded by three inches of rain overnight. back nine was good. Sould have given a discount.

This is a nice course with some challenges to make it fun and you can't beat the price.
